C2 Consumer Research is a boutique market research firm that was established in 1997. They offer expertise on hard to reach target groups for a variety of businesses.
Participate in Online, Telephone or In-Person Research
As a member of C2 Consumer Research, you may be invited to participate in focus groups (usually about 8-10 people), interviews (one-on-one) and surveys. Members can be invited to participate online, over the telephone, or in-person. They usually invite users to 1-2 focus groups a year.
Variety of Topics
Research opportunities are on a variety of exciting subjects such as employment trends, video games, travel, product testing, beverages and consumer goods. As a participant, you may be asked to watch a TV pilot, commercial, taste-test a new product or comment on new packaging.
Typical honorariums of between $75.00 - $200.00 are offered depending on the length and complexity of the study. C2 has a company policy to never accept projects unless honorarium is paid to participants. To register, visit their website to fill out their questionnaire.
C2 Research will contact you (by phone or email) with an offer to participate if they have a focus group that matches your interest. Typically, there may be additional research questions that must be answered to narrow down the appropriate candidate for the project.

C2 has been easy to work with over the years. They send out relatively brief screeners for their focus groups and I feel like my percentage of hits has been higher than with other panels. They have offered 1:1 interviews as well that pay well (as opposed to actual groups).

The surveys that they offer are unrealistic every survey you press you're unqualified for in my opinion if they're going to allow surveys there shouldn't be a survey that you're unqualified for that's not fair if you meet qualifications such as you have a job it shouldn't matter what job everybody knows something about something and in my opinion as long as you're reading the questions darling you're giving correct answers you should be qualified I think that's just a gimmick to not pay people

I was contacted to participate in a web based interview regarding career trends. It was an interesting discussion, good use of my time. It took about an hour and a half online and I didn't have to go anywhere except a quiet spot in my house. I selected my payment method as an electronic gift card and it was paid within 2 business days as promised. I could have opted for a physical check to be mailed but that would have taken longer to process and receive. Overall, communication from C2 was good and an appropriate amount of contact. They did require me to submit an email from my work account to prove I in fact was a current employee but that was fine as I understand it is important to add an extra layer of quality assurance when conducting online market research. I will gladly participate in another one of their studies the next time they reach out.

After having been told they would pay me in three days, five days, soon, etc. NOW they say they need proof I was truthful. They need proof after I completed their long survey??? Disgraceful!

The study I joined was in person, not online. I got paid $150 for 2 hours to talk about health care and to review advertising.
Interesting group, the leader kept the discussion going and the C2 rep did a good job of setting expectations in terms of what was expected of me.
I've gone through a couple other companies and in comparison, C2 is more professional. I would recommend it to others.
