4 Step Process

Sign up by filling out a quick survey and then complete your profile. Earn points for taking part in surveys, 1 point = 1R (South African Rand). Exchange your points for an assortment of prizes including shopping vouchers, movie tickets and even charity donations. Repeat this process and earn big!

Gift vouchers, airtime, and more

Once you have racked up enough points, you can exchange them for gift vouchers, mobile airtime, shopping vouchers and donations to charity. Points can be redeemed anytime you like, provided you have enough points for the reward that you want, but the minimum prizes will cost 50R. Get your reward requests in before the 15th of the month, and you can expect to receive them by the end of the month.

You can redeem your points for vouchers to places including: Takealot, Vodacom, Macro, Virgin Mobile, Telkom Mobile, MTN, Numetro, Cell C, Nandos, KFC, and more.

Charity donations and draws

The option to donate to charity is a huge perk of the Enlighten Panel. Each time Enlighten partners with a new charity they will reward the first 250 donations with 1R to those that choose to donate. Also, don't forget to look for sporadic lucky draws where you could win!

Survey lengths and payments

Survey invitations are sent by email and vary according to the amount of clients Enlighten is working with at any given time. Enlighten Panel surveys usually take about 10-15 minutes to complete, however they may take longer in some cases. Each survey usually pays between 20 - 65R.

Eligibility: To join Enlighten you need to live in South Africa and be 15+.

Save your time and don't bother with this site!
I'd give them zero stars if I could. Two months later I'm still waiting for my voucher yet they still send survey invitations and I don't get my points credited. Your time is better spent elsewhere, there are more survey sites that will reward you accordingly and on time.

I love this survey panel. However, sometimes one does not receive their redeemed vouchers in a timely manner. Their correspondence is a bit on the poor side. I would have definitely given it a five star rating if it was not for these issues.

I have been a member of Enlighten for about 2 years now. I would prefer more survey invitations, but usually the surveys are quite interesting. They do regular profile surveys where you can win shopping vouchers, and have some interesting facts.

Their actual survey system is probably the nicest I've used. Other sites usually route you to an external system where the survey is hosted. At Enlighten, all their surveys are done on their own system, which is nice.

Unfortunately, you can only choose between shopping vouchers and charity donations for your reward, however when I cashed out for R200 worth of Kalahari vouchers, I received my vouchers and I had no problems.
