How Does It Work?

There are thousands of items to review on the website. For music, you must listen to a track for a minimum of 90 seconds and then you are allowed to write a review. For fashion items & accessories or commercials you will be provided with a rating system out of 10 and may have to answer a few questions.

Be an All Star Rater!

An aspect of your payment when writing reviews is based on the quality of reviews you are writing. If your reviews are detailed, constructive and well-written, you will earn more stars attached to your profile. Individuals will more stars tend to earn more for reviewing!

Payment Per Review

Payment per review is in the range of $0.02 to $0.20, depending on what exactly you are reviewing, but this can add up quickly as there are thousands of items you can review at any given time on Slicethepie. The website is currently offering a $0.10 bonus on reviewing some items which makes the rewards even sweeter!

$10 Minimum Payment

Slicethepie has a relatively low withdrawal minimum at $10. Earnings will be transferred directly into your PayPal account and will always be sent in US dollars no matter where you are based. This may take up to 5 days to process, and payments are usually made on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Get Rewarded for Referring Friends!

Slicethepie has a pretty great referral program. If you have friends, family members or colleagues who would be interested in joining the community, send them your personal referral code. Once they sign up, you will begin collecting bonuses after they leave their first review. The most lucrative part is you will continue receiving rewards on their reviews a full year after they sign up! You can listen to a variety of music clips (mostly alternative and pop) from artists and submit your feedback. Problem is once you select your genres, you cannot update them so I grew disinterested in always being sent slow rock and pop music. The site will reject your reviews if they feel they're too similar or not long enough, which is understandable, but often I could write books about the lyrics being too commercial or unappealing, and would still get kick back. I also found some my reviews wouldn't go through, even if I was using the approved browser.
After a year, I accumulated a little over $8 (the payout is $10) and the site prompted me to give my location. When I first signed up, it was easy to opt out of. Unfortunately now, if you do not wish to let them track you, you cannot submit any other reviews. I terminated my account.

I don't think I'll earn much money on this site. They expect a lot from you, as if you are a processional music reviewer. If you don't have much to say about a particular song, a box pops up asking if you have writers block and can't you say some more. One time a box popped up and said my review was similar to the last review I gave and that one was a song I was a little excited about so it wasn't similar.

It would better if they gave you songs in the genre you liked but they don't.
How much can you say about song you don't like, just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're bad songs.

They are horrible and I'd avoid them. Initially, it was tolerable. They pay pennies for reviews, but the pocket change did help and I was able to make $40 in one month and the pay was quick. However, you need to work all the time to get this $40 in one month. Because they don't pay that much, I have to admit, I didn't do as well as I could to move up and get paid more. I also tend to rate straight down the line in regard to a certain rating or ratings. They brought this to my attention and before I could even improve and have a chance to improve, they harassed me about it and micromanaged me again and closed my account. I'm actually very relieved they did, being that reviewing for them was very uncomfortable, disturbing, and unpleasant. You have to rate all of these violent and misogynistic tracks of people wanting to and threatening to shoot other people up and smack women up and sexually mistreat them. When you speak out honestly about this in reviews, they try to censor you and say it can't be published and you have to censor and reword what you say for it to be accepted. This is a very time-consuming process. They also have a higher-paying tier to take surveys. These supposedly "higher-paying" tiered surveys are a total lie. If you don't qualify for a survey or it's full, you don't get any compensation for attempting it and they pressure straight people to answer that they're bi or gay in order to complete a survey. Sorry, I'm not doing that. GOOD RIDDANCE, SLICETHEPIE!!!

5 reviews and 5 cents in my account. I always new my opinions were worthless. I am better keeping them to myself and looking for loose change on the side walk.

After gaining $40 I clicked to cash it in to transfer to my paypal, it said done but when I check in my paypal account nothing is there. I am very disappointed, have I really done all that work for nothing. can anyone help me with this..
