Survey Details

The time it takes to complete an online survey will vary, however most surveys offered by SurveySpot take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Most surveys are rewarded within the range of 50 to 100 points, depending on their length and complexity.

First off, their points are way too low on average. So today I got a survey with a great number of points and decided to give them another shot. Went through the entire survey. I qualified, did the survey, and it said thanks for completing the survey. It had me enter my address and phone number so they could send me a product to test. It thanked me again for participating...

Then it took me to a page that said "Sorry, you didn't qualify". WTF! I did the WHOLE thing and even agreed to test the product! I'm so tired of these guys.

This one is similar to Opinion Outpost and OpinionWorld. They inundate you inbox with lots of invites but they pay very little per invite. Most of my invites I've gotten pay 20 - 50 cents -- for 20 - 30 minutes? No thank you... Others will pay you better for your time. Also, I've found that they underestimate survey times, where they tell you it'll take you 10 minute for a survey you end up spending 20 or 30 min. (Not all of them, but it's been common enough to be noticeable. Disappointed as it's just not worth my time as much as some of the other sites. After I get to the $10 Paypal cashout, I'm going to close my account. (FYI - To cashout, you need to have a VERIFIED Paypal account -- this means one attached to your bank account.)

It takes forever to get points and even longer to get surveys! Horrible site!!! Stay away! You have to get 1000 just to get $10! Forget it. Opinion Outpost is where it's at!

I went to cash out my points using pay pal and now my account is randomly frozen. I've emailed them but they never responded back. I'll give them a week to, but if not--then I'll file a complaint at BBB!

I am giving Surveyspot 1 Star because it is operated by Survey Sampling International which also operates Opinionoutpost. The surveys on both are identical and if you sign up for both (easy to do since SSI isnt upfront about the sites being mostly the same) you maybe doing the same surveys on either. However, the surveys on Surveyspot pay on average about one fifth what they pay on Opinionoutpost. SSI is trying to build up a base of survey takers that are willing to be paid much less than what is paid on Opinionoutpost. If you care about fair compensation for your time, dont do any surveys on Surveyspot.
