Valued Opinions is an online survey panel where members can earn cash and gift cards in exchange for participating in paid surveys and product tests.

Most surveys offer rewards of between $1 and $7 per completion. A minimum account balance of just $10 is needed in order to request a reward.

Joining is Easy

You can register a free Valued Opinions account within minutes - simply enter your name, address, email address and desired password on the registration page. If you prefer, you can link your Facebook account and register using the details stored there.

You’ll be prompted to fill more information in your profile after you’ve registered - and doing so will improve your chances of being eligible for a wide range of surveys.

Complete the Basic Profile, Receive $1.00

After registering with the site, you will be e-mailed an offer to complete your account profile (which takes 6 minutes) in exchange for $1.00. This will help kick-start the number of surveys you will be eligible to complete. After completing the basic profile, you can also complete additional profile information regarding your household, shopping habits, etc. which will help you qualify for even more surveys.

Reward Amounts

Valued Opinions surveys typically reward between $1 and $7, although at times you may be sent unpaid surveys to help with identifying your unique interests. The typical survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete, however the estimated time is always outlined beforehand.

For every survey completion, you will receive "cash" deposited into your account immediately after completing a survey. This can be converted into a wide range of rewards.

Survey Rewards

Your Valued Opinions earnings can be redeemed for the following rewards once a minimum of $10 is collected:

• Magazine subscriptions - 1-year magazine subscriptions to Cosmopolitan, ELLE Decor, Food Network, Magazine Midwest Living, and Women's Health for $15 in rewards.
• Restaurant gift cards - Dominos pizza, Chili's, and Restaurant.com available in $15 or $20 denominations.
• Airline miles - Get 600 Rapid Rewards Points for $15 in rewards, or 825 points for $20.
• Retail gift cards - Options include: Amazon.com, Apple, CVS Pharmacy, Fragrance.net, Macy's, Target, and the Home Depot, each in $20 denominations.
• Pack & Go gift card - this one $25 gift card can be redeemed at a Chevron, Texaco, Airbnb or Southwest.

These rewards apply to USA members, though are very similar in other countries.

Rewards Redemption

Electronic gift vouchers are typically delivered within 24 hours of request. It can take a few weeks for rewards such as magazine subscriptions to take effect and be mailed to your physical address.

More Than Just Surveys!

Valued Opinions offers various types of ways to participate on their panel. Although online surveys are what they primarily offer, you may also be given opportunities to participate in diary studies (which are surveys that span multiple days and involve logging information), and you may be selected to test products from home.

Member Badges

Valued Opinions offers a unique program which involves its more active members collecting "badges" for their level of participation. There are 5 levels that can be achieved with mini tasks that must be completed: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found in the Survey History section. These will display as a 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Valued Opinions Monthly Red Cross Donations

Every month, Valued Opinions donates $10,000 of its profits to the American Red Cross. By participating in Valued Opinion surveys regularly, you are helping make the lives of those affected by disaster and emergency all over the world, a little bit easier.

Is Valued Opinions Legit or a Scam?

Valued Opinions is a legitimate online survey site that has over 3 million members worldwide and was established in 2004. The panel is available in over 15 languages across more than 20 different countries and abides by the strict rules laid out by the Market Research Association and the Market Research Society, making them a safe website and not a scam. I have only been a member for 3 months and just cashed out with Amazon e-card. After I confirmed reward, it was in my email in 1 minute. Surveys are very enjoyable.

I have been participating in surveys for Valued Opinions for a couple of years now but for the past few months I regularly find myself more than halfway through their surveys only to be screened out telling me I don't qualify. Other times I can be just as far through a survey only to be told the survey is now closed. I have emailed and emailed their so called customer support but the odd time I receive a response its automated and never do I get a humanly response nor any feedback or sense. I have given up and urge anyone associated with this dishonest and misleading company to be careful, you could be very well wasting your valuable time in the belief you will be rewarded.

I used to LOVE this panel but it has gone downhill very rapidly recently.
I have earned £120 over the last few years in vouchers from them; which is more than any other panel I am linked to.
However, recently you are getting paid less and less for long surveys - 75p for 20 minutes isn't good enough.
Also, the withdrawal minimum used to be £10 for a physical voucher - now it is £10.50 with the extra 50p not coming to you, but going towards postage and packaging they claim. This is ironic, however, as the majority of their vouchers are now e-vouchers!
This leads me to another point: when claiming your voucher: you aren't actually told whether it will be physical or an e-voucher. This had lead to me waiting for the postman then eventually searching through my junk mail to find the voucher.
Lastly, their Facebook page which I've tried contacting them through is a waste of time. For a company that can post new statuses every few days or more often, why does it take them 5 days to reply to my message?!
I actually don't waste my time with this company anymore, which is a shame as it had helped in my teenage years to earn a bit more cash.

Here's the deal: I cashed out a Visa at $60. They gave me 3 virtual Visa codes each for $20. Not one for $60 but 3 for $20 each. So they state that it can only be used for an online purchase for any store. Well, guess what? I went into Home Depot to place an order and at check out you can only use one account number. Now we all know that nothing equals exactly $20 so therefore being that there is only one box at check out for your Visa acct. number, you can't make up the difference with your debit card. You are now stuck with 3 $20 Visa acct. numbers that you can't use online. Not even on the phone. You can purchase something on line for less then 20 but then you have a balance left over that is useless, which means you did a few studies for free. If you continue to do surveys get Macys because at least you get an actual card in the mail and can use us both online and in store. They don't even have paypal. There are so many other survey sites that pay cash or they put it into your paypal.

There was a time when they used to send really good survey. But with time and increase in members they have reduced their survey points by half. Plus their 28 days pledge to credit survey points is very annoying. Also there rewards option are not good.
