REDEEMING REWARDS

$5 (500 points) minimum account balance required to request payment.

20/20 Panel is an online survey panel which has been conducting online surveys since 1986. 20/20 Research conducts online surveys as well as real time focus groups in an online chatroom environment. They compensate their panel members with cash rewards in exchange for their survey or focus group participation.

Earn Points for Your Opinion

Taking quick surveys on the 20/20 panel will allow you to accrue points to redeem gift cards. You can even earn gift cards for participating in online discussions, chats, and web meetings. Surveys are usually short, but online discussions can take up to 90 minutes to complete.

Signing up is as easy as filling out an online profile. The more information you can provide, the more likely you will be matched with surveys or discussion-based studies.

Types of Studies

20/20 Panel offers a variety of studies that offer points as well as cash rewards:

  • Surveys only
  • Surveys + online chat interviews
  • Online discussions
  • Online web cam discussions
  • In-person studies (you must be in Nashville TN, Charlotte NC or Miami FL to participate in in-person panels)

Redeem Your Rewards

You can begin to redeem your rewards from surveys once you reach 500 points ($5.00). Discussion-based studies have incentives that range from $50-$300 should you qualify or choose to participate. The cash for discussion based studies comes in the form of a virtual or physical gift card. You decide which you would prefer to receive, which may take 7-10 business days to process.

Raffles via Facebook

The 20/20 Panel has its own dedicated Facebook page for panel members, and if you join, you can participate in raffles to earn more!

On Hold

November 1, 2019 by Michele from United States

I was recently confirmed by 2020 Reset for an upcoming focus group on politics in my state of CA. I answered all the questions from the survey but I got subsequent emails from Alexandria Seamster 3 separate times asking questions I'd already submitted. But I answered again so she would be happy. The fourth email she sent me read that at this time I've been put on HOLD (in bold caps) and I wouldn't be able to participate. But hey, we'll keep you in mind for future studies! Well, she's not offered me any further excuses as to why I was really rejected after all the time I had wasted preparing for the study. Although it says that the guidelines have been changed, that's what they always say. But once an individual has been confirmed, that should be it and I should at least be compensated for it. Instead, it was all for nothing. But hey, now everyone who reads this will know about it. Take that, Alexandria Seamster!

Promises, Promises

There are product surveys and qualifying surveys. Product Surveys are detailed with product or brand name surveys. Qualifying surveys typically include demographic information and whether you purchase or might purchase.

You get notices of qualifying surveys from 20/20. They promise you "points" or chances in a drawing for filling these out. But you never seem to qualify for anything.

And the qualifying surveys request detailed information about the frequency and dollar amounts spent, asking you detailed questions about purchases, rankings, time spent shopping, and opinions of products and stores--that's exactly what the actual surveys typically gather.

The result is they give worthless points and have you fill out the actual survey. They get paid for the results and pay out nothing.

There also errors where you don't even get credit for what you have filled out. In a year or two you might qualify for a $10 gift certificate.

In sharecropper days, people paid for their room and board and had to buy everything at the company store, becoming indentured servants. This is the modern day equivalent.....just try to use your points.

I enjoy having my opinion heard. But as the collecting agencies are paid, I would rather do them for agencies where I can receive payments for my detailed surveys.

too personal

I've spent the last 10 minutes on 20/20's LENGTHY questionnaire. I can understand asking about our household salary level, but in this era of easily stolen identities I think it is none of their business to go beyond "do you have chkg, svgs, etc" and not only ask for our bank's name but also the names of all our credit cards. I have participated in several survey panels and none ask me financial questions this personal. 20/20 you seriously don't need to know who I bank with and the names of the credit cards I may or may not hold. I'm unsubscribing.

reel change

I can't log on to check my points due to getting caught in a captcha loop. All the surveys seem to be using it, but this seems to be the only one that locks me into a loop. I can take the surveys, but I can't log in to the main site! And your idiot menu doesn't even have them, or Cint, on your menu!

Hi Corey,

Nice to connect. I am the panel manager for 20|20 and I am happy to answer that question.

Historically, we have focused solely on the qualitative side of the market research industry. This is the part of the industry that peers into the "why" behind consumer behavior. Qualitative studies are very very niche. Our clients are looking for niche segments of the population like:
Women
Married
Live in the Northeast part of the nation
With at least one child under the age of 18 in the home
Inclined to eat organic
Shop at WholeSale Grocery outlets
Have a House hold income of $55K+
Education level is High School or above
Haven't bought a specific brand before

So, with that, we have to then try and find that exact person in our database. We get as close as we can based off what we know about our panelists (and what they have provided us in their consumer profile survey) and then shoot a pre-qualifying survey out to those that may be a fit; pending the answers to a few additional questions we don't currently have the answer to.

Then, as the qualifying applicants come in, our recruiters start calling to confirm their information and confirm they would like to participate in our client's study. Even if you qualify, you may not get in however. As we will send 100 emails out because we need 25 people, 50 people respond and take the survey and 35 qualify. Which means 10 people will not get to participate in the study.

Here recently, we have acquired a new company that allows us to offer more and more different types of opportunities to more panelists and even allows us to award points (towards cash) on some of these opportunities.

Hopefully this helps you better understand our process.

All the best to you Corey,
Amanda
