Once you have entered a few personal details, you will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you registered. After you’ve completed this, you will be transferred back to the American Consumer Opinion dashboard and you will see a list of surveys you’ll be eligible to take.

Participate to Earn Rewards

Every survey you see listed on ACOP's website will show the number of points you can earn for completing it. You can either log in regularly to the website to check for new survey opportunities, or opt in to receive emails whenever a new survey becomes available. Alternatively, you may provide your cell phone number in order to be notified by text when a new paid survey becomes available.

Payment and Rewards

Rack up Points

Each time you take a survey, you will earn points for your opinions. Screener surveys (short surveys) are worth between 5 – 50 points, or an entry into a monthly draw, and are 20 questions or less. Longer surveys offer points ranging from 100 – 5,000.

Points Value: 1,000 points = $10.00. 1 ACOP point therefore equals 1 cent.

Great Reward Options

As a panelist of ACOP, you must have a 1,000 point minimum balance ($10 worth) to redeem your points. Once you have reached this minimum, you may redeem your balance for the following options:

  • PayPal: For most countries, use PayPal to cash out your earnings in a simple and easy manner. If you decide to use PayPal as your cash out option, make sure your PayPal email matches the email you used to sign up with American Consumer Opinion.
  • Hyperwallet: Like PayPal, Hyperwallet is a user-friendly payment platform that operates in 170+ countries. Allow 8-12 weeks for payment and receive a confirmation email once your money is available.
  • Sweepstakes Cash Out: Use your points toward sweepstakes entries that give you a chance to win a variety of lucrative prizes. (Note that once a sweepstakes has been entered using your points, you do not get your points back, even if you are not selected as a winner).
  • Charity Donations: Choose to donate your money to a variety of credible charities.

Survey Taking Experience

American Consumer Opinion Surveys

ACOP offers online surveys to its members that are interesting and quick, with the average survey taking approximately 10 minutes to complete.

In addition to online surveys, participate in other research opportunities such as product testing, focus groups, and judging the newest advertising campaigns. You can expect to receive invitations for participation from American Consumer Opinion several times a year.

Member's Tip! Ensure you add [email protected] to your approved senders list to ensure you receive survey invitation emails in your inbox.

Household Surveys

A few times a year ACOP sends out a survey that pertains to each household. The survey asks what products and services you use on a day-to-day basis. If you participate in this survey, you will be more likely to receive additional future survey invitations, which can translate into earning more points!

One Of The Top Survey Companies

January 31, 2024 by keith from United States

I have done online surveys for over 30 years. In my experience, ACOP is one of the best for the following reasons: 1) First, they pay well for their surveys. 2) Their customer service and management is excellent, responding to concerns that arise within one business day; 3) The surveys themselves (whether ACOP's own or partner surveys) are of high quality; 4) Payouts are prompt. I highly recommend this survey company and have enjoyed being a member of ACOP for many years now.

I have been flagged and now know why

October 22, 2022 by Marina from United States

ACO is telling me that I have been flagged. I told them I have a problem with my mouse, it jumps into 2 or 3 browser windows occasionally if I click on the mouse too hard I guess. Maybe my mouse needs replacing and am working on that. Then I also need to update my drivers and am working on that. So I have been flagged and I imagine it might have to do with my mouse jumping. I can't imagine what else or how I did a survey too fast except the mouse problem or the driver. I don't know which maybe both. I guess now I can no longer do surveys for ACO and maybe other companies also and I only have a few. I just want to say it is unfair and the panelist is not protected by the survey companies and is left out in the cold. If they don't want me to work and do surveys for them anymore because someone flagged me then they should just tell me they will close my account not to leave me hanging like this with no more surveys and when I do get an invite, very rarely, to be told "sorry" etc. I am very sad that ACO cares so little about me.

UPDATE: This survey company is very honest and I found out that blacklisting and or flagging panelists is done by a company outside of ACOP. I have been flagged by someone but have complained to this DYNATA company and if they don't answer I will get help from BBB or whoever will listen.
Thank you ACOP for providing a great survey company,. Nobody is perfect and Dynata surely isn't which is proven by them ignoring people's questions.
