KEY FEATURES:

The Hiving is panel that was founded in 2007 by a French market research company to help brands better understand their audience. Since then, the company has grown to have a presence in 20 countries around the globe. "Hiving" refers to the term of "bringing a focus back to life at home, while still keeping open and strong communication with the outside world".

Survey Details

As a member of The Hiving, you will generally be sent 1-4 surveys per month, but it depends on your demographic. Each survey usually takes between 5 and 20 minutes to complete.

Collect "Hiving Points"

Each time you complete a survey, you will be rewarded with "Hiving Points". The amount of points collected depends on the complexity and length of the survey. Once you finish a survey, don't panic if your points don't show up in your account right away, as it can take up to 30 days. This is because the survey must be full before it can be closed.

Refer a Friend!

You can also earn points by introducing your friends to Hiving. Each time a member that you invited to join completes a survey, you will receive a percentage of the points allocated to that survey, without reducing the amount of points they receive themselves. There is no limit to the amount of people you can invite!

Hiving Point Conversions

In order to redeem for rewards, you must accumulate 4000 Hiving Points. Here are some quick facts about Hiving Points:

• Hiving Points don't expire
• You can exchange your Points for cash once you have collected at least 4000 Points
• Cash exchanges are made in stages of 4000 (4000 ($4), 8000 ($8) or 12000 ($12) Points)
• 1000 Points = $1.00
• The Points System is susceptible to change but any changes will not affect the value of the Points you currently have

Reward Options

There are three different options that points can be spent on: Redeem for cash via PayPal, request an Amazon e-voucher or donate your points towards a charitable cause!

I am in exactly the same position as the previous reviewer - they used to pay out, albeit after a time, but they always responded immediately to chase-ups and apologised profusely for delays. I last redeemed on 19th July, chased on 11th and 23rd August, but have heard nothing. Meanwhile, they keep sending multiple surveys a day, which I am deleting, as I'm not prepared to do them for no payment. On the last few redemptions there has been a disclaimer that Paypal payments are currently taking longer than usual, which indicates to me that they have no money. Why else would a Paypal payment take weeks/months to effect? Hiving has become a bargepole panel.

I earned a payout and redeemed ( 4 GB) but I am still waiting for it almost 3 most after . I tried to contact them and made a claim but never had a reply .

I joined Hiving a few months ago and have redeemed $5 once. The surveys they send me have been broken for weeks now, so I sent them a message and told them so. I waited for a reply and none came, so I sent them another message and ditto!

I attempted to enter a survey today only to find my account has been blocked. No notification and no reason forthcoming from them.

I would strongly advise not joining this panel as they pay the lowest rate and you need 4000 points to redeem which took me ages to get.

Please don't waste your efforts with this scam.

I am currently in the process of cancelling my account with this site as the payout is ridiculously low.

I really do not like this company at all.
1) They do not credit your points correctly and the points you accumulate remain as pending for many, many months before they add them
2) It takes over 6 months to gain the sum total of £4. We are being ripped off as many other commentators below have stated
3) I have asked on two occasions for them to close my account. They will not do so and still send me surveys. I feel as if I am being forced to stay with a survey company I have no interest in. I am now going to have to block their email addresses so I no longer receive their emails given they have ignored my request!
This is the only survey company I have ever tried to leave which goes to show how bad they are.

My advice is not to join them - They are the only people benefiting from your hard work!
