KEY FEATURES:

The Hiving is panel that was founded in 2007 by a French market research company to help brands better understand their audience. Since then, the company has grown to have a presence in 20 countries around the globe. "Hiving" refers to the term of "bringing a focus back to life at home, while still keeping open and strong communication with the outside world".

Survey Details

As a member of The Hiving, you will generally be sent 1-4 surveys per month, but it depends on your demographic. Each survey usually takes between 5 and 20 minutes to complete.

Collect "Hiving Points"

Each time you complete a survey, you will be rewarded with "Hiving Points". The amount of points collected depends on the complexity and length of the survey. Once you finish a survey, don't panic if your points don't show up in your account right away, as it can take up to 30 days. This is because the survey must be full before it can be closed.

Refer a Friend!

You can also earn points by introducing your friends to Hiving. Each time a member that you invited to join completes a survey, you will receive a percentage of the points allocated to that survey, without reducing the amount of points they receive themselves. There is no limit to the amount of people you can invite!

Hiving Point Conversions

In order to redeem for rewards, you must accumulate 4000 Hiving Points. Here are some quick facts about Hiving Points:

• Hiving Points don't expire
• You can exchange your Points for cash once you have collected at least 4000 Points
• Cash exchanges are made in stages of 4000 (4000 ($4), 8000 ($8) or 12000 ($12) Points)
• 1000 Points = $1.00
• The Points System is susceptible to change but any changes will not affect the value of the Points you currently have

Reward Options

There are three different options that points can be spent on: Redeem for cash via PayPal, request an Amazon e-voucher or donate your points towards a charitable cause!

Have been a member for several years. It's fairly easy to get points, but not to get paid. Every time I've claimed I have had to send a reminder after the 2 week deadline. Not sure if this is a policy to put people off. They now seem to be getting worse - I made a claim for £4 on 4th August, and despite sending a reminder I am still waiting over 2 months later. You can't send a second reminder since their message system locks you out pending a response to your original query. Probably best avoided as there are plenty of other sites that are more reliable.

Requested payment on 22/7/2020, still not received, sent several emails for it to be paid, and was totally ignored.

This company is totally a made of frustration. After spending long time on the site to take surveys I was able to reach 4000 points 3 times and requested payments. Following my email to Hiving to request for an update on payment of my earnings, it has blocked my account. It is just a cheater. No wonder why people leave negative feedback about it. It just looses its respect in the markets. There are many other survey companies process payments immediately. Hiving is only waste of time, it is only a cheater and unprofessional.

This company has stopped paying, I made a redemption of 4000 points on 06 November 2019 and to date I have not received it. I now have a further 8000 points to claim. The "contact us" is disabled on the website. The email addresses [email protected] and [email protected] do not respond either.
They still send out email survey requests regularly. No point in completing any from now on until they pay.

Update - Just a follow up on my previous review. The day after my previous posting, Hiving South Africa paid. I then immediately redeemed another 8000 points and received payment the following day. This shows that Hiving can pay quickly when they want to. Now keep it up Hiving!

Have only cashed out a few times and received £20, but havent tried for a while and i have over £30 in my account.

Never seem to complete any surveys but at least you get a small credit for ones you dont complete.
