After spending a LOT of time doing their surveys, they started playing games and claim to void surveys only AFTER payment was due. Then, as they locked me out - for no reason other than "we can do this if we want - read the terms and conditions" - my only way to get payment was with useless $10 gift certificates for ShoeBuy.com which has the most expensive footwear online - so it was both useless and a waste of time and energy. Far too many of these sites will never articulate what it is that they are doing when they cancel you out- except it always happens when you want to get paid - months after you did the work. It is sleazy and unethical, BUT they get away with it by saying it's in their T&Cs!

I have been with them a while, never had a problem until today! I cashed out $50 on 11/12/14, still not paid, I can log into the site, but when I try to do a survey, it goes to a page with a list of JD power companies, and says Domain for sale. When you log in, on top in your browser it says Jdpower.com, but when you click a survey it says JD Power .net, so not sure if they are down for good, or got hacked!! Is anyone else having this problem?

Have been doing JDPowerPanel reviews for a little over 2 years. Have earned and cashed out just over $400 in those 2 years. Have also done eRewards and Pinecone surveys in that time. Cash out options are better than eRewards but definitely not as timely as Pinecone.

You have to be proactive in doing surveys. Do not wait for them to send you an email to do surveys. The survey is dead by then. Just go to their site daily and login and click on the Dashboard. You will get many more surveys that way. Unlike say Pinecone you have to kiss a lot of frogs. You don't qualify probably half the time. If you don't qualify, 75% of the time you earn a dime. The other 25% of the time you get nothing when you do not qualify.

Cash out is slow with this site. You need to keep doing surveys constantly to push your earned amount to the payout level. JD Power does not pay out until their clients pay them. Most of the time it is less than four weeks but it can go four months.

Takes a month in my experience to get $25 to cash out and another 4 weeks for them to send you the reward.

I am exploring other sites like Opinion Outpost to find quicker payout sites. Just started but at least the cash out starts at $5 instead of $25 for Amazon. Pinecone is great but have only been able to earn $6-$9/month with them and the occasional free product.

Looking for better survey sites but not as down on JDPower as some of the other reviewers.

**UPDATE-2/22/14**. Started upping how frequently I visit their site in the second half of last year. Tripled my yearly income from this site in that time frame. Because of the slow payout times it requires patience to take surveys via this site and therefore does not get a lot of love from other reviewers. JDPowerPanel never fails to pay although at times you need to send them a reminder. Customer service is responsive within a day to your emails. If you have some old school patience and can visit this site frequently it can be profitable.

For me this is the best of the 'Surveyhead clones' qualify for about 65% of surveys and get 10 cents for about 80% of the ones I don't .. Worth my time.

Thanks to everyone who said you might need to send a reminder. When I did, I got my reward the next day. Yes, you do have to wait till the "pendings" (till their clients pay them) & they tell you it will be about 4 weeks, but after the "pendings" cleared & I waited the 4 weeks & sent a reminder, they came through as stated. I don't mind waiting the period that is stated; but I have a major problem waiting any longer than what they promise. They get 4 stars for paying as they claimed.
