How Opinion World Works

Creating an OpinionWorld account so that you can be sent paid surveys is easy. Simply navigate to their registration page and fill out a few basic details. If you prefer you can use your Google or Facebook account to sign up in a matter of seconds

Once you’ve done that, you’re free to start completing tasks to earn points and claim rewards and can find surveys listed in your account, or you can wait for them to be e-mailed to you.

Payment and Rewards

Rewards for Surveys

You’ll earn between 50 ($0.50) and 300 ($3) points for each survey you complete, depending on its length. Some surveys do not award points, but rather, offer donations to charities. These surveys are usually quite short and can be taken on an almost daily basis! You will be notified before the start of the survey, if the survey is offering you rewards (points) or asking for your opinion for charitable donations, before you begin.

Once you’ve earned a minimum of $10, you can redeem your points for rewards including Amazon.com vouchers, Visa prepaid debit cards, cash via PayPal, restaurant gift cards, and more.

Rewards for Watching Videos and Reviewing Advertisements

OpinionWorld gives you the opportunity to earn points by watching videos and offering your feedback on video advertisements. The rewards are minimal, but it’s a nice low-effort addition to the website that you might enjoy and can help you reach your cash out goals sooner.

Real World Missions

Depending on your location, you might be able to earn points by completing ‘real world missions’ while you’re out and about.

Most missions of this nature involve sharing information about shops and other customer-serving businesses. You'll need to connect your mobile device in order to participate.

Redeeming Points

The minimum points or dollars redemption threshold is $10 USD (or equivalent in Canada), unless there is a lower redemption option available for a certain reward. Threshold amounts vary in countries outside of the US and Canada. The points conversion is 100-1. This means that the value of every point is $0.01. So if you have 250 points in your account, it will be worth $2.50 (though this amount may vary if you are outside the USA).

Members who choose to redeem their earnings by PayPal or for an e-gift certificate, often receive their payments instantaneously, or within a few hours. Physical gift cards usually take approximately 2 weeks for processing and mailing.

Leave this one Alone

May 22, 2017 by John from Australia

No problems since joining, then suddenly, from 10 March, I failed to qualify for any further surveys. Reasons given in answer to my queries were absolute nonsense. Then realized the amazing coincidence that from the same date, I failed to qualify for any further surveys from My Opinions Postman. Additional inquiries revealed both associated with MyOpinions based in Connecticut. I must have asked one question too many, for after being told that my ongoing problem would be investigated and I would receive an answer within three days, the answer which came through told me that my membership had been terminated because of some imagined or invented violation of the Terms and Conditions. And this with more than 28,000 points accumulated between the two survey sites. If you want to do surveys look on this site for the list of ratings and choose from the list - but leave alone anything to do with My Opinions Postman, Opinion World or MyOpinions.

Locked out

March 8, 2017 by Barbara from United States

I have done Opinion World surveys for about a 1 1/2 years. Now I can't access their surveys because, though they accept my login and ask their preliminary questions, when I try to enter the survey the screen says "answers not saved". Reasons given are rushing answers, inconsistent information, not clearing browser cache, and not using one of the browsers they want me to use. I don't rush, the only reason answers might be inconsistent is that I am now a one person household due to a death in the family, and I do clear my cache. I'm not changing my browser and should not have to do so. Is anyone else encountering this problem? I emailed OpinionWorld and the reply was not helpful. Other sites that operate through Survey Sampling International are also closed to me.

Horrible Site!!!

March 4, 2017 by Jonathan from United States

Customer Service is terrible. Like others I got the notification that I was "suspended" by Opinion World. Now, I had easily earned enough before for a $13 paypal deposit. Now I got to $4.80 of an amazon cashout of $5. They are sending nothing quality now. Yes, I like to help with charity, but the points is I do surveys to get money. The site is poorly conceived, and smacks of annoying.

Tip:
Don't do OpinionWorld.

Tip:

Do the following sites:
1. Opinion Outpost
2. One Opinion
3. GlobalTestMarket

TERRRIBLE!!!!

January 22, 2017 by chantelle from United States

Every time I attempt to take a survey, its never paid...but I take them anyway because its for drawing entries and/or charitable donations...that's fine..but I complete surveys....all the way through spending a lot of time doing them...only to have a message come up at the end saying I won't be credited for my time due to some completely made up reason.
