With Smart Panel App, you can help your favorite web sites, apps, tech companies, and mobile carriers give you better services and more features. Download the Smart App and anonymously share your data. All data collected is encrypted, secured, and protected – Smart App is owned and operated by Verto Analytics Research firm.

How Smart App Works

With Smart App, you’ll need to apply to become a member. To apply you’ll answer a short survey about your personal details and your tech habits, including how often you use your smartphone.

If accepted, you’ll download the Smart App on your smartphone and keep it there. The app will usually give you surveys to answer. You’ll earn points by answering these questions about your technology habits.

The app will track your smartphone usage and share your habits from using this smartphone device. It reportedly uses around 3MB of data per month and causes an extra 1-5% reduction of battery life. You may have to download a VPN onto your device too.

After you have kept the app on your phone for 30 days, you can convert the points earned into rewards for the first time.

I really liked this company, but they've changed like every other survey/ rewards site I've ever had the misfortune to join (with exception of Prolific, Turk, and Paidviewpoint.).

I used to like them because they always paid on the exact day my reward/Survey was due, I never had any problems cashing out, and when there was a problem they always got right back to me. Not this time however.

When you are a loyal member with SmartApp you receive
a $10 reward every three months in addition to the rewards you receive every month ($5) for keeping your PC/cell/tablet connected to their App. Well a few weeks ago I received my 10 dollar reward, but when I went to cash it out I kept getting the wrong code on my phone, so I was unable to cash out my rewards.
I have contacted them 3 times explaining my problem. No answer except the email letting me know that my computer is disconnected from their app ( I disconnected my PC because I'm not going to keep give them free access).
I don't know, maybe this is their way of weeding me out to bring in new members. If that's the case then why have they kept me connected?
I will update you at a later date just in case they're having a lot of issues or something like that, but for now my rating stands.
P.S. Since I 've disconnected my PC from Smartapp I've noticed that my PC has been working fabulously so I'm wondering if the app was interfering.

Smart App not so smart

I made the mistake of downloading this app on my laptop and now the log in page will not leave my screen. For 3 days now I have spent several hours trying anything I can to get it to go away to no avail. It covers 1/4 of my screen and hinders sight and functionality of my laptop. In return I have lost money and work because of this. I cant get anyone from support to help me, after several attempts I finally went to JUST ASK QUESTIONS and had to spend money and STILL got nowhere. I am so angry right now that not only is my laptop messed up but I am without a great deal of money because of it. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT EVER install Smart App on any device of yours.

Great while it lasted

Well, it was great while it lasted (several years). I recently purchased a new Android laptop to replace my dying one and tried to transfer the Smart App over to it. Kept getting a message about the tablet having been used by another user, which I didn't understand because the tablet was right out of the sealed box. I messaged the Smart App folks and requested that we remove the tablet from my profile and I would replace it with my smartphone. What I got back was a message saying that I had violated their terms by having multiple accounts and they suspended my participation. I only have ONE account, so I have NO IDEA what they are talking about. Multiple emails from me saying so and asking them to explain went unanswered, so, what can I say but SCREW THEM.

The site does pay you money after the first month. Which is nice because I got $10 but some of the apps I used didn't work after using Smart App but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with some of my apps crashing. But I'm confused about how to find surveys to take and how I the giveaways.

With holding Rewards

I too have been a member, since January 2019, I have it installed on two devices. I have had to take it off one device and move it to another because it seemed to be interfering with my comp. All was fine for months, then the app stopped working on one of the devices and I kept getting an error message. So I contacted them to make sure I have the correct link and reinstalled it. All was fine, so I thought. I have been trying to redeem my rewards for 2 months now with no avail. First they kept sending messages stating I should be able to claim but never could, then I got the message of breaking their policy terms... I angrily responded, as I have been through a lot keeping this up and running properly and asking them exactly what terms I had breached, as it was their app that crashed, not anything or any changes on my end. They never responded to that inquiry, but once again stated my account is in good standing and I should be able to collect. Well, I cannot and I have tried contacting them again multiple times with no response. So, they have all their data and info for free while I'm out of earned rewards... I am about ready to go ahead and uninstall it and just relinquish my rewards because I do not know what else to do to rectify the situation when they will not work with their customers. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues recently? My next step is to contact the BBB... Any ideas/suggestions?
