They promised to pay $5 a month if you downloaded their app to your phone. But they quit paying anything, so I quit using it.

Thanks for your review. To clarify, as a Smart Panel member, you are only disqualified from redeeming rewards if you have broken the Terms of Service.

If your account is still in good standing, you can continue to earn rewards for completing surveys, and you will still be automatically entered to win our monthly giveaways -- even if not all of your devices are connected or if you're a member of the Surveys & Giveaways program.

They lied!!!

I also had issues with this app. I instantly started having issues where I could not open certain apps and one of those apps it interfered with said it was a certificate not secure and that app never did that before. I would open up one of my browsers and try to search and it would not load properly and search properly. As soon as I got rid of it I immediately went back and the browser and app worked. They claim that there app doesn’t interfere that it just collects data from you in the background but it messed with my stuff and who knows what else was messed up cause after having problems with 2 apps I use daily I got rid of it and now everything is back to normal.

While Smart App should not typically interfere with your mobile device activity, we understand that it may cause occasional performance issues with specific apps or services. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can use the VPN pause feature to turn off the data transferring for a temporary period so that you can access those apps without missing out on rewards.

Great service

It took some time but they got my password changed and old well that ends well! It wasn't really their fault as my e-mail got screwed up by yahoo! They were very nice and helpful! I love this site and am glad we finally got the problem solved!

I have gotten paid

I've not had any issues getting paid. I got paid faster than I have with Slidejoy which I also have. I don't recall receiving any surveys though which is a little disappointing.

I'm still happy with this app but...

UPDATE AGAIN - REF. "additional earning opportunities through surveys, interviews, and extra giveaways" --- --- From SmartPanel I had 2 surveys (test?) which were rewarded with Amazon only, then I received a survey with no reward! (prize draws, and I don't do these) and nothing else as for earning opportunities. --- --- REWARD I believe that now the total yearly reward is well below, but we were never really told that this was going to happen (*~*). --- --- On the plus side, I never had other issues with the app, it works very well, redemption too. --- --- --- To my below review MUST ADD some disappointment: WITH THEIR UPDATES & PROMISED IMPROVEMENTS lasting several months when you could not redeem, the only thing I see different IS THE REDUCTION to almost half what they used to reward when I started. Hence my stars too are reduced! ------- ------- -------
I started to run this app in my tablet (Asus) just less than 2 yr ago, recently I added it to my new tablet (as it is now primary, Huawei) and I never had any problems [just perhaps when I was also running another similar app, I had sometimes difficulties in manually loading data]. ------- If they are updating the app etc they will email you, and it has never lasted too long. ------- They pay promptly, customer service answers questions (maybe, not the best one but at least I'm not ignored and answers are polite). ------- Yes, changing e-mail address is a problem, hence not the full 5 stars, but so it is a problem with other panels, especially when Paypal is involved, and it does say it in the Terms we agree with, that members cannot change email address. ------- Anyway, up to now I am happy with this app, which doesn't even seem draining the battery as did some other some apps I tried.

UPDATE: Hi Leo - While we slightly reduced the loyalty bonus amount this summer, we have greatly expanded our additional earning opportunities through surveys, interviews, and extra giveaways. This allows for more flexibility and control in how much you earn and when. None of these changes affected the $5 monthly reward program, which has continued as normal.

Some improvements we implemented around the same time included better SMS verification validation, introduction of voice call verification, and improved verification messaging on our website to make things smoother and more reliable when it comes to getting paid.
