Unique perks

Consumer Village members can take part in surveys, focus groups and discussion boards on the hottest topics. You can even create your own polls! Consumer Village is also an active supporter of charities. They donate $0.25 per 500 points redeemed to charity and 5% of all tokens earned by panelists are donated to charities from their own corporate pockets!

Rewards

Members can accumulate tokens towards Amazon gift vouchers. Rewards correlate to how much you participate in the discussions and surveys. Focus groups are awarded with cash paid by checks, and can be around $75. Tokens are also earned towards sweepstakes each time you respond to a new sponsored topic. Sweepstakes are done monthly and 30, $10 prizes are awarded.

Rewards redemption

Panelists can redeem their accounts when they have accumulated a minimum of $5 or 500 Tokens. Rewards are calculated at the end of each month and then dispersed via e-mail to panel members by the 15th of the following month. Amazon gift vouchers are awarded immediately when they are cashed out. They also have a monthly sweepstakes where they award 30 $10 prizes. If you participate in a focus group, you are likely to be paid by check.

Survey invitations and app

Get more survey invitations by completing the "Profile Surveys" on your account. They can be found in the “New Surveys” area located on the website. Also, be sure to act quickly when responding to survey requests, as once they are filled they may be closed. A great way to do this is to download the Consumer Village mobile application named i°C. This allows users to respond quickly to survey invites or other offers.

You may not get a ton of surveys, but they are typically unique, interesting and not horrible to complete. They do pay out through gift cards irregularly, but they do pay.

I've only been with this company for 4 months. In those months I've dilligently completed most of the infrequent surveys they've sent (about every month and a half). For each survey I've completed, I received 'tokens'. 500 tokens is the minimum payout. After waiting to get to the payout level-I was told I'd be sent a $5 gift code on the 15th of the month after the payout level is reached. So, I waited-after reminding them-they sent me a code. That was invalid. I've contacted them to fix the problem to no avail. Now, other members are complaining of the same happening to them. If this company ever does take new members-I'd suggest asking current members if they're being compensated.

They just don't send many surveys- so that right there says absolutely NO point in joining.

Gongos only pays once every three months, but the surveys are way above average and it is easy to get somebody to help you when there is a problem.
