Branded Surveys, YouGov, Panel Champ

Esearch is one of the first and oldest online survey panels, having come into existence in 1995. Esearch is primary focused on the USA market, and currently has almost 1 million survey panelists. Survey panel members of Esearch receive cash awards for their participation, or sweepstakes entries for cash drawings.

Earn Cash!

Esearch pays cash honorariums for your participation by PayPal only. Make sure the email you sign up with is the same email you use for your PayPal account in order to redeem your rewards. Most surveys have cash incentives, but a few have draws. The cash incentive/draw information will be noted on the survey invitation so you will know your reward before filling out the survey. Incentives range from $1-$5 or more.

Survey Details

The typical survey on Esearch will take you 10-15 minutes to complete. Panelists usually receive a survey invitation to participate about once a month. These are usually online surveys, but you may be asked to try out a product at home and give your opinion. Although Esearch accepts panelists from around the world, most studies are for the US market, and therefore international panelists will get few survey requests.

  • Ethnic groups (including African American, Hispanics and Asians)

Lies

November 3, 2022 by Anastasia from United States

Been with this survey company for years and years. Never qualified for a survey. Finally did after years and years. First survey I did they gave some bogus excuses as to why they couldn’t pay me for a product test. Stay away from this survey panel.

Had high hopes

Did a 2 month trial for them for a $55 incentive. Was told I would be paid by end of June. Yes, that was yesterday but it was the last business day of June. I’ve sent two emails getting feedback on payment and was promised no later than end of June. The last email said they were waiting for a deposit to clear. They don’t answer the phone. I looked on BBB. No complaints there but it looks like it’s a one woman company. It’s been in business 18 years. It’s the first and last time I’ll do one for them. I was supposed to do a test late last year for a different product but the shipment was lost and they didn’t care to rectify that issue-my lesson has been learned about esearch. I didn’t complain to the BBB but I did leave a review. I’m tired of the research panels between brands and panelists not being able to manage cash flow and thinking screwing over panelists is okay. When I agree to do any job, I’m aware of my responsibilities, when I’m to be paid, how much, etc. I’m sure that when I agreed to set aside my personal products and just use theirs, fill out surveys thoughtfully and take/submit pics, I wasn’t doing it for the fun of it.

does not pay

Sent numerous emails 3 months after survey. Run around and no payment.

Still Around?

I joined this site in 2012 and I think to date I've had 3 survey invitations, 2 of which I completed and was credited for. I actually forgot they existed it's been so long since I've had anything!

Of what I know, they're fairly ok - you sign up with them and when there is a survey that your profile matches, they email it to you. You click through and if you qualify your payment is sent to your PayPal address automatically, albeit a few weeks later. And that's it! No points collection, no minimum cash out, no unnecessary time spent picking what reward you actually want - one of the easiest sites, although the fact I forgot about them speaks volumes about how frequent their invites are...

I would say register on the off-chance you may get more - they do pay in $ though, so whilst it may brag a $5 payout for half an hour of your day, in reality it's only a couple of quid and will take a while to receive

Questionable

October 19, 2020 by Patricia from United States

This makes twice that I filled out a survey for esearch with thoughtfully written answers and enough information to be obvious that I was selected as the demographic and was nearing the end of the survey. I was kicked out for not being the right demo even though I was answering question specific to the survey topic. They're getting survey information and then dropping the survey taker before the end so as not to pay.
