Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

My Global Test Market member account # 1xxx.Against my 1000 Market Points , FIRST redemption request of 14th Apr.2013,GTM have FAILED TO SEND me till today,8 March, 2014 ( > 10 months now ), even just ONE CORRECT & VALID CHECK in my registered full name & amount wise. During the period their only one INCORRECT & INVALID check # xxx of 22 Nov,'13 delivered on 12 Dec.'13(> 8 months) , was duly returned by me to GTM. SENDING AN INCORRECT / INVALID CHECK was FAULT of GTM.
By GTM-EN e-mail of 7th March,'14, they have conveyed to forefeit my payment ,saying my address undeliverable.IF MY REGISTERED ADDRESS WAS UNDELIVERABLE THEN HOW YOUR EARLIER CHECK # xxx WAS DELIVERED AT MY REGISTERED ADDRESS AND THE SAME CHECK WAS DULY RETURNED TO GTM. TO PROVE & VERIFY YOUR VERSION ,SHOULD NOT GTM GIVE PROOF OF RECORDED DISPATCH & DELIVERY OF UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESS ?
MY ABOVE ISSUE & CASE HISTORY ARE SUFFICIENT TO POINT OUT MALAFIED INTENTIONS OF NON-PAYMENT OF MY WAGES OF DOING SURVEY WORK OF GTM.

I've been doing surveys with GlobalTestmarket for 2 years. I redeemed my cheque in mid September but I got nothing after 3 months. I sent them e-mail to check the status in early December and I was told that my account is no longer active. I sent them e-mail again to ask for the details, but fortunately no reply. I kept sending them e-mails again and again but still no feedback. No payment! No reason! No feedback! Seems cheating and totally ridiculous!

I have yet to take a survey where, after wasting 10-20 mins of my time, I wasn't simply opted out. You get 10 pts for those. Also, they offer you 20 pts per friend REFERRAL , they get
the referral and you get no points until that person finishes a survey. They should tell you that by Referral they mean Recruit. - or New Member Enrollment , and that person must now Complete a survey - which is hard to do if you keep getting opted out.

I have been taking online surveys for a few years now. I've joined many good sites where I have gotten paid. Unfortunately Global Test Market is Not one of these sites. I would give it a negative star if I could. After accumulating enough points to cash out for a $50 check, I never received it. Their site said to allow up to 8 weeks so I did and it never came. I emailed them and was told that they would send out another one to allow 8-10 weeks for it to arrive and it still hasn't. My attempts at contacting them as only resulted in emails stating the same thing. I would not recommend this site to anyone as you will just be wasting your time. Check them out on Facebook, there are a lot of people complaining about not getting paid.

After earning 345 Market Points, enough to snag $15 in PayPal cash, I was told I needed 1,000 MPs to cash out. WTH?! I e-mailed them for an explanation about the conflicting information but have yet to receive an answer. After doing surveys for 6 months, this is one of those sites that finally pushed me to only do surveys for companies that pay in hard cold cash or checks. No more Point Systems for me! IMO, it's much more quicker to snag CASH/CHECKS than rack up Points. Something scammy is going on with these folks and their ilk, especially when it comes to those 5-Star ratings. Maybe they need a wake-up call from BBB. Maybe some well-constructed complaints will force them to do right by their survey takers. How many reputable businesses suck when it comes to Customer Service? I'M OUT!
