Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

I WAS UNABLE TO LOG-IN AFTER BEING A MEMBER FOR MONTHS. I was told that my email address/password were incorrect. I contacted them many times and I NEVER received any response. Therefore, I think you should stay away from this survey site. There are many more reliable ones.

I too have been disappointed with these guys and am diligently working at getting my rewards for my time and effort . For those who feel cheated here is what I am doing . Below are the names and contact options for their oversite management team, these guys run the show from Lightspeed . Contact them with your issues and see how fast things get resolved . Be diligent and do not let them ignore you . You "worked" for them doing surveys and they received the benefits yet ignore their obligation to pay you . Do not let them do it .

* Also do not forget you can tweet and post them on Facebook . I do not let anyone take anything from me even if it is only worth an Amazon Card i will get the final laugh and maybe provide a few headaches along the way .

(**)This is an update , I got home from work and there was a PAYPAL deposit from these guys and it was actually a couple dollars more than I had points accumulated . Even though I asked for an Amazon Card I will take the Paypal , be diligent and persistent and annoy the hell out of the upper management .

This outfit bills themselves as "a fast way to make money online," but clearly not too fast. Take too many surveys or complete them too quickly and they will terminate your account. Those of us who use multiple survey sites are obviously rather more adept at filling out information than those who are just starting out. LIghtspeed has the following clause in the user contract: "Notwithstanding any term of this Agreement, Lightspeed reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to discontinue or terminate any of the Services, to terminate your license to use the Services, to delete any Panel registrations or other accounts, to delete Points without redemption...." However as Lightspeed treats users as "independent contractors" the company is legally obliged to compensate you for any work that you have undertaken. My advice would be to keep a record of your points earned just in case you are subsequently denied access to your account. Then send Lightspeed an invoice via snail mail for the redemption amount and include additional compliance information as follows. "This invoice is due and payable within 14 days of receipt. A $30 late payment fee will be applied to invoices outstanding after this date. In addition interest at 19.99% APR will be applied to outstanding balances. Invoices unpaid after 30 days will be put into collection." I think that may assist those who have yet to be paid by this, and other similar, companies. You can of course file a claim in the small claims court which would probably result in you getting paid. I've been self-employed for much of my life and there's frankly nothing worse to my mind than a company who tries to withhold monies that are due and payable. Develop a tough skin and pursue cases of malpractice and non-payment vigorously. Best of luck :)

Can't get hold of anyone at Global Test Market. My email no longer works, no reason given, and I had almost $50. sitting there to cash in, that I can no longer cash in.

What a poor way to treat people,I was 50 points away from a voucher and they cancelled my account with an excuse saying I'd put them in my spam folder.....laughable
