Founded in 1999, Global Test Market is an online survey panel owned by Lightspeed Research, a Kantar groups company. Global Test Market is one of the world’s leading providers of market research and serves clients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

They rewarded their panelists more than $30 million+ USD in 2016 alone! As a panelist, you can earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed for reward items from over 200 partners, redeem your points for cash via PayPal, or donate your points to charity.

Registration Process

Registering is easy, simple and free. Click the registration link where you will be asked simple questions about you and your household. The results are used to determine which surveys you are a good fit for.

Rewards Information

Each survey takes on average 15 minutes to complete and reward amounts depend on the survey length and urgency.

If you are screened out of surveys, you may be entered into a quarterly sweepstakes competition. For each sweepstakes entry you earn, you will be automatically entered into the drawing and if you are a winner, you will be notified via email. Remember to respond before the deadline provided to claim your prize.

LifePoints

For each survey completed, you will receive LifePoints, which you can accumulate to redeem cash and prizes. Each email invitation will alert you to how many LifePoints you will receive for taking the survey. LifePoints expire 3 years after being awarded the points, or after 12 months if there is no activity on the account.

On April 17, 2017, MarketPoints were discontinued and replaced by these new 'LifePoints' at a 1 for 5 conversion rate. Collected points can be redeemed for many different reward options, which may vary, depending on your country of residence. Rewards can be redeemed once you have accumulated 1,100 LifePoints ($10) in your account. Note that if you have a friend that was grandfathered in from the old Points program, they will be offered slightly different points than those who joined GlobalTestMarket after April 2017.

Types of Surveys Offered

Many of GlobalTestMarket’s surveys ask your opinion on movies, restaurant, automobiles, consumer products, current events, and a variety of other interesting and fun topics. You can also download the LifePoints app onto your phone so you can take surveys on your mobile.

Points Expectations

You can expect to earn between 35-250 LifePoints based on the level of complexity or urgency of the survey. Even if you do not qualify for the survey, you may still receive 5 LifePoints..

Option to Give Back

In addition to the great selection of rewards, Global Test Market gives you the option to give back to your community! Unicef charity donations can be redeemed with collected LifePoints.

Refer Your Friends!

You can refer your friends by entering their email when you are signed into your account. If they fill out at least 2 surveys, you also earn points.

Rewards Processing Time

Rewards usually take about 4-6 weeks to arrive if you are in the United States and 6-8 weeks for international panel members.

This site is worse than OTX. They let you take the entire survey and then end classification questions and then tell you you didn't qualify! I have emailed customer service multiple times and even sent SCREEN SHOTS that I finished the surveys and they write back saying I didn't qualify (even though they saw the screen shot) and then had the audacity to send me an email to take a survey on their customer service! You have to answer about 20-25 questions just to pre-screen, which really means you just took the whole survey for them and they got the info you needed and you are left without your points. TERRIBLE AND BAD. There are way too many good sites to waste your time with this one.

i have also had my account suspended for "speeding"..i was getting quite close to cashing out and so my points were erased....now that i am aware that others have had this problem im not feeling like im alone out there when i say to all to please be careful with this company!!!..better yet DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

I have had excellent experience with Global Test Market. I am rewarded points as expected, and I received my checks in 4-6 weeks as they tell me when I cash out. I have never heard from them telling me that I am doing a poor job with taking surveys. I will say this: If you are taking surveys at dishonest rates of being too fast, or just clicking answers in a "pattern" that are more dishonest than honest, they will catch you. Those "Terms of Service" are there for a reason, to warn you what to expect if you wish to be just running through the survesy. Suggestion: your efforts will be rewarded if you spend some time on your surveys being fair and honest in your answering the questions and do also take a few minutes to review the site's "Terms of Service."

In June I stopped getting surveys and found out my account was disabled as I was approaching my $50.00 payout. In communication with them I was told I was speeding through my surveys. They re-enabled my account so I took some more surveys, this time, making sure I was not speeding as they were insinuating and putting in extra effort to make sure I was doing the surveys to my best ability. So come late August 2011 I had some 1500 market points so I requested $50.00 for the 1000 points I worked for. Guess what happened. They disabled my account and said I forfeited the payouts on my account. MY ADVICE: DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. STAY AWAY FROM GLOBAL TEST MARKET. I have filed a report with the BBB in Washington and have posted a complaint on RIPOFF REPORT. COM. "CONSUMER SURVEY TAKERS or BUYER BEWARE" of GLOBAL TEST MARKET or GLOBAL MARKET INSITE. There are more reputable Market Survey Companies out there to devote your time to and be treated with dignity as a human being.

I've never had any major problems with GTM and any problems I have had are no different problems I've had with any site. Look, they're humans behind the machines too.

Anyway, if you're patient and work through surveys that you don't qualify for (again, how is that different from any other site?) then you'll get your $50. I have cashed out another 1000 points/$50 and expect my check any day now, but I also know that these things take time and I know these survey sites can take weeks. At least GTM still sends you a beautiful check for beautiful cash. I love that about GTM and when you do a long survey you are often rewarded accordingly.
