Get used to that title a lot. 1 or 2 surveys a month and you may qualify for 2 a year.

I recently participated in a market research interview for a serious medical condition, I was referred by a friend through a Twitter link.
A few weeks later I receive a phone call from some incredibly aggressive and rude female (she hung on on me just trying to verify my address , she was upset I requested a supervisor) , whose name I won't disclose, saying they don't allow PO boxes, (even though I had since updated my address to my home address and was never told this, I even gave it to a recruiter). I was never told they don't allow PO boxes regardless, asking for identity information such as a picture of my ID.
I stated to her as terms of my participation I was never told I needed a picture ID or social security number or passport, or billing proof or anything of the sort. I completely and fully participated in good faith in the interview, and taking time off work for such.
Now you're going to proactively come back and ask for these things? Eventually we kept going in circles I asked for a supervisor and without even a pause she said someone would get ahold of me, and of course there was no pause to put in an email or text or phone call to the supervisor to find out if he or she was available.
She said someone get ahold of me later that day or tomorrow, which of course didn't happen.
I wonder if Schlesinger clients would be interested that they "disclose" all requirements for participation during the initial phone calls and confirmation emails and such, and then later come back and require information for payment. she then said it wasn't for payment but for future surveys, but then said my account would be on hold and wouldn't receive payment, so she was talking in circles.
I told her the fact that they had been so deceptive already additionally makes me renege on wanting to provide any sort of identifying information, especially since my ID has been stolen a couple times in my lifetime.
This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever put up with and only stresses me while suffering from a serious condition, I would never recommend this company.
InspiredOpinions responded to this review on March 20, 2019Hello Daniel,
I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. It looks like you have already spoken with the supervisor, so hopefully this post was prior to that interaction and you no longer feel this was a case of bait and switch! We do value our participants time and honor all incentives for valid participation. If you are still not satisfied after speaking with the supervisor, please let me know so she can follow up with you again. You can reach out to us directly at [email protected]. If it is convenient for you to call please leave me a message at 1-855-244-0886 and I will return your call as soon as possible!
I look forward to working with you!

I had been a member of Inspired Opinions for about 4 years. I was not active often because I rarely received project invitations, maybe twice a year. I finally got into a project in January. We were to be compensated weekly for a 5 week campaign and it took me 3 months to receive payment. I then participated in a follow up project and have never been compensated and cant even get someone to respond to my inquiry about compensation. I do not recommend them to anyone its not worth the hassle

When I was completing the registration form on-line, I noticed that the address being asked of me was referring to USA location (I live in Canada) and so I did not proceed and would just forget about it. Several days later, I got a phone call from the company enticing me to participate. I told the lady that I am not a US resident and I already signed up for a similar survey being conducted by a Canadian research company for the same topic. She said she would check with her manager and asked me to hold the line. Moments later, she came back and assured me that it is not a problem. So I went through the process and was given a telephone interview date and time of May 9, 2017 at 2:45 pm, my time. On this date, I waited and waited and nobody called. I phoned the company and spoke with Laura T. She said the interview I had in Canada was for the same client and therefore Schlesinger will no longer interview me. I asked why I did not receive any word that my scheduled interview has been canceled. She apologized and promised she'll arrange to compensate my time for the interview that did not take place. Since then, I've been making follow up calls and emails to Tracy. She has been ignoring my calls and emails. It is unbelievable how unprofessional I was treated and quite unbecoming for a company as big as Schlesinger.

Gone are the days when I'd get invited to come in to take a survey and receive compensation. They have a (perhaps not so) new tactic now. I'm tired of getting emails inviting me to a survey, and clicking through a screening process that then turns out to be the survey itself. So, they now have my survey feedback for free. Of course, I never get an invite to come in and participate in the survey as described in the email because it doesn't exist. Nor does the compensation. I'm out, and I encourage others to bail out also.
