High payout threshold (20 GBP) and cancels points after 12 months

April 5, 2021 by Steve from United Kingdom

It takes ages to reach the payout threshold (20 GBP in the UK) and they invalidate points 12 months after they have been earned, if not redeemed. I had over 8 GBP of points cancelled last May because I'd been unable to redeem them due to the 20 GBP threshold. Nasty, dishonest practice.

TERRIBLE

November 9, 2020 by Elizabeth from United Kingdom

Used to be good but this year has been awful. I cashed out at £35 and have had to send email after email to head office, facebook and any other address I could find. Did get my payout eventually but would never chance this again. Stay away as not a good site anymore.

Stopped paying

November 6, 2020 by Karen from United Kingdom

This used to be a reliable site, I earned over £370 since early 2017, my last cash-out was 30th June. They have always paid out within 4-5 weeks. I claimed £20 on 27th August and when their stated 30 days had passed I emailed asking when to expect the money (as their email instructed). No response, and only a handful of points credited since 14th August when they did a mass credit (presumably from external partners' surveys) despite my having completed dozens since then, knowing that they had always made up the points eventually in the past.
It's gone ominously quiet, they don't reply to emails, but they still send out numerous invitations each day and post new polls on the website. All the other sites I belong to have announced working from home measures during the pandemic so I can't see this as an excuse. It wouldn't be so bad if they acknowledged delays, but to ignore everyone like this suggests they are in trouble. I delete all invitations now.

Update 2 Nov: After badgering them again, I finally got a reply saying: "We will process your payment by the end of October 2020". Needless to say, no payment received yet.

Update 5 Nov: Finally got paid yesterday.

Uses participants and has zero shame about doing so.

October 14, 2020 by Sharon from United Kingdom

This market research company lets participants spend thoughtful time completing hundreds of online surveys only to keep their money and refuse to pay out. If you complain about this or even query when they are going to pay you for your hard work, they close your account, retain the money you have earned and then tell participants they have broken the rules. No, they have broken no rules, this company just uses people and has zero integrity.
If you look at their reviews on Trustpilot and Survey Police they are awful with people saying the same thing - they will not pay you after you have redeemed your points. To add insult to injury, if they do not close your account after you question where your money is, they continue to send you surveys which means they also have no shame.
There are so many other survey companies out there where you will not experience the same issues. Survey companies who respect the participants and who will not act in such a thoroughly dishonest manner.
Maybe Mindmover believe they will have a steady supply of hundreds of new survey takers so they never need to concern themselves with not paying out. I truly hope that people leave this site in their hundreds as without us, they would not even exist.

On their way out I suspect

July 27, 2020 by Judith from United Kingdom

Used to be fairly good but never better than that; are now dreadful and not even worth half a star. Minus 10 would be more appropriate.
Loads of surveys, they say are available but they are not and even if you start one you're told you don't qualify even after they have all your views.
THEY ALSO DO NOT POST PAYMENTS EARNED, so watch out, if you do use them.
All-in-all, I would recommend that you stay away from them.
I have a feeling that they are on their way out and obtaining views from you for which you won't be paid.
