What is MobileXpression?

Download the MobileExpression app to allow it to record and collect information about your mobile data usage, or if you're using an iPhone or iPad, through a VPN connection. In exchange for this passive data collection, you can automatically earn Amazon gift cards for keeping the app installed.

App Details

Data passed through the app may include mobile web browsing activity, usage and titles of downloaded applications and files as well as usage of cameras, video streaming and other utilities on the mobile device. The software may also collect information regarding the web pages you view, the links you access, and usage times for certain device activities (e.g., text messaging, call lengths, and web browsing).

The app requires less than 100KB of memory to store the research software and 128KB to store the collected data before it is encrypted and securely sent to the MobileXpression servers. It should not have any affect on your phone's performance.

Run the App Without Interference

The MobileXpression app runs in the background on your devices and should not interfere with your phone or tablet. The app's main purpose is to collect data on internet surfing habits.

Take the Occasional Survey

Panel members of MobileXpression may be invited periodically to take mobile surveys to help with better understanding some of the rationale behind internet mobile surfing trends.

Is Mobile Expression Safe?

MobileXpression is a safe app to download to your devices. It runs in the background and its access to what's on your phone is very limited (as per below). The app should not interfere with regular usage of your phone, however as it does act as a VPN, some users have reported connectivity issues with their devices after downloading the MobileExpression app. These issues seem to resolve after uninstalling the app, so although the app appears safe to use, as with many apps, your success using it may vary.

Privacy is Important

Mobile express takes the privacy of their panel members very seriously. Other phone activities such as calls, text messages, photos or contacts are not accessed by the application. In addition, all of the information is pooled into anonymous data storage, so the webpages you access will never be linked back to your profile.

After having been with them for some time, they sent an e mail accusing me of fraudulent activity. They would not specify what. I am a 62 year old disabled granny not a criminal mastermind.

Having read the Synopsis of this site, I must say I never received anything after the 1st 2 weeks like it says, nor a month later. I DID receive a $5 gift card after the obligatory 5 weeks (30 points). Then another and another until I'd been a member for about 5 months. Today I got my 5 points, making my balance 30 points and redeemed for yet another $5 gift card....it seemed to work but NO GC arrived in my email. Then I went to my account to see if they show the code for the Amazon GC but I'm "locked out" of my account! I wrote support but it's been nearly 12 hours and no response.
I took the app off my phone. Frankly, at $5 every 6 weeks, it's not worth it to have on my phone with a VPN that screws up my ability to run videos for other sites and it's been loaded with lots of 'issues'.
I'm angry that I didn't get my $5 gift card and they chose to lock me out of my account because I have THE NERVE redeem my $5.
This app is loaded with errors, inability to connect sometimes and now this....NOT worth it...I've only been with them less than 6 months and it's been so inconsistent, I never know when I can connect every week to earn my lousy 5 points....
I doubt they will pay me.

I was a member for about one year without issues then November 2019 the weekly credit would not work. I reached out to the online customer service they gave me credits but issue not resolved. December the same issue after several emails to customer service no response. Still waiting in January 2020.

I've only been doing Mobilexpressions for about 6 months and this is the only time I've had an issue. It was for $10 amazon reward. I didn't get it, even though TODAY, they sent me an email saying it was fulfilled. When I went to claim the code, it was a bunch of jibberish on the paper. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS ISSUE AND THEY NEED TO RESOLVE IT AND GET IT TOGETHER.

I have used this app for over a year now and had no problem. I have told a lot of people about it and how easy it was to get the gift card each month.Usually within hours of placing my order I would receive an email containing my gift card.Until my last order on Dec.9th....I waited a few days and still nothing. I checked and it just said pending.Three emails and about a week later I finally got a response from customer service.This is what it said.....

All orders are currently pending approval from the program administrator. Unfortunately, we are not able to process orders without approval. Once the orders have been approved, your order will be promptly processed.

So I am still waiting and have taken the app off my phone and am warning everyone not to download it because I don't believe we will actually get anything else we are owed from this company.
