Nielsen is a trusted global research leader that has been around for 90 years. Nielsen Mobile Panel is looking to measure the activity of users on mobile phones and tablets to better understand how individuals use these devices.

The Nielsen Mobile Panel is designed to help the mobile industry understand how consumers use their mobile phones/devices, services and content. The panel produces usage information that the industry uses to build, plan and manage their mobile offerings to consumers. Nielson Mobile Panel gathers this information through an application that runs silently and transparently in the background of your mobile phone. This application allows them to measure how you use your phone, including your usage of websites, applications, calling, messaging and other phone utilities. They never listen to or record your communications and they will not release your personal information to third parties.

At this time, you cannot have multiple devices on the panel; just your (one) mobile phone.

Simply fill out the registration, then download and install the mobile application onto your phone.

Ever Increasing Redemption Fees

I have been a member of this service since August, 2015 and have redeemed a $5 Amazon gift card 4 times since. Each time I redeem, the point value required for redemption has increased, from an initial 685 points, to the current 745 points. Added to this is a 300 point digital processing fee.

Waste of time, poor support

I signed up, followed their instructions to join the panel and everything was fine. About a month later they send me an email that my account
Isn't set up and is inactive. I login and everything looks fine, I write them back. They send me the instruction again, I follow them but this time I get an error. I sent screenshots, details and I keep getting the canned set up emails or email responses that didin't answer my questions and don't resolve the issue. There is no number to call. They said they'd call me but my work doesn't allow me to drop everything and take a call whenever. Email responses are slow. After two weeks I gave up, it's not worth it.

I used this service for just over five years and had no issues collecting and redeeming points. As of a few months ago, I am no longer able to log in to redeem my rewards. I have sent in multiple support requests over this time and received no response. Do not waste your time with this company.
