How Opinion World Works

Creating an OpinionWorld account so that you can be sent paid surveys is easy. Simply navigate to their registration page and fill out a few basic details. If you prefer you can use your Google or Facebook account to sign up in a matter of seconds

Once you’ve done that, you’re free to start completing tasks to earn points and claim rewards and can find surveys listed in your account, or you can wait for them to be e-mailed to you.

Payment and Rewards

Rewards for Surveys

You’ll earn between 50 ($0.50) and 300 ($3) points for each survey you complete, depending on its length. Some surveys do not award points, but rather, offer donations to charities. These surveys are usually quite short and can be taken on an almost daily basis! You will be notified before the start of the survey, if the survey is offering you rewards (points) or asking for your opinion for charitable donations, before you begin.

Once you’ve earned a minimum of $10, you can redeem your points for rewards including Amazon.com vouchers, Visa prepaid debit cards, cash via PayPal, restaurant gift cards, and more.

Rewards for Watching Videos and Reviewing Advertisements

OpinionWorld gives you the opportunity to earn points by watching videos and offering your feedback on video advertisements. The rewards are minimal, but it’s a nice low-effort addition to the website that you might enjoy and can help you reach your cash out goals sooner.

Real World Missions

Depending on your location, you might be able to earn points by completing ‘real world missions’ while you’re out and about.

Most missions of this nature involve sharing information about shops and other customer-serving businesses. You'll need to connect your mobile device in order to participate.

Redeeming Points

The minimum points or dollars redemption threshold is $10 USD (or equivalent in Canada), unless there is a lower redemption option available for a certain reward. Threshold amounts vary in countries outside of the US and Canada. The points conversion is 100-1. This means that the value of every point is $0.01. So if you have 250 points in your account, it will be worth $2.50 (though this amount may vary if you are outside the USA).

Members who choose to redeem their earnings by PayPal or for an e-gift certificate, often receive their payments instantaneously, or within a few hours. Physical gift cards usually take approximately 2 weeks for processing and mailing.

what happened???

June 15, 2014 by Mike from United States

I used to LOVE this site. They had good surveys and cashed out to Paypal immediately. I guessed they liked me too because they made me one of there "valued customers" where I would earn bonus points over the normal points awarded. Well, that is now gone and I get emails to do surveys worth NO points; simply one entry into their chance to win. I haven't received a survey worth any points in several weeks. I emailed them and they said to watch out for emails. I think I'm done with site...be careful.

Truth

June 5, 2014 by Benjamin from United States

The truth - why they terminate accounts even if you didn't do anything is simpler than you think. They do it in order to protect their site from people that live outside US have multiaccounts, using proxy to connect, rushing throughout their surveys etc. etc. But the truth is - it will hit mostly innocent people, because the other ones are too smart for them to get caught.

Love it

Lots of surveys offered, I've cashed in 20.00 in amazon gift certificates. Great survey site

No reason for termination

May 16, 2014 by Jennie from United Kingdom

I'm a member of a few panels, and OpinionWorld was one of my preferred panels as I always received surveys and could build up my points with relative ease. Immediate payout was fantastic!!
However, today, I just went to collect via paypal my £10 earnings, entered my paypal details as normal, it started loading and automatically stopped and OpinionWorlds T&C's appeared. I therefore went to re-log in and now have a box at the top of the screen explaining that my account has been terminated due to breaching T&C's. Oh and my £10 paypal hasn't gone through either.
I've sent 2 separate emails; one through the website and one straight to the helpdesk as directed through the new 'termination box'. So now awaiting a response (I don't hold out much hope as I recently emailed regarding a survey which I was 80% through when they decided that I was no longer eligible, so was not compensated for - I like working 10-15 minutes of my time without compensation obviously! - and am still awaiting a response.)
I've been with this panel a few years now, and have never before had a problem. I am now extremely annoyed that they have terminated my account, when I went to withdraw my earnings, for as far as I can see, no reason as I can't understand what I've done to be in breach of their T&C's. If they reinstate my account (and the £10.50 I had in credit!!) I will change my current view on them, however I think I will be wary from now on!!

Was good now not so

April 25, 2014 by Ashley from Australia

Have been a member for about 5 years and never had a problem until today when I went to cash out they cancelled my account for breach of their terms and conditions. I have not broken these conditions and they let me continue doing surveys until I tried to cash out.
