Every survey gets a fixed amount of cash allocated to the respondents who participate in the study. That pot of money is divided up between the respondents based on their TraitScore. Adjustments are then made to level the playing field so that newer members of PaidViewpoint are treated equally compared to longstanding members. Additionally, the respondent pool is divided into groups, with the higher-level groups getting paid more for each survey answer.

Get Rewarded for Being Fast

Periodically, PaidViewPoint will send invitations to complete surveys that are time-sensitive. Look out for these invitations, as you can earn a large premium for completing these surveys in the timeframe listed (typically a few hours). This is an easy way to boost your earnings with the site and earn more for completing the same surveys.

Payment Options

PaidViewpoint offers online surveys in exchange for cash and gift cards. All cash-out payments are made through PayPal or their partner, Virtual Incentives.

• Receive your first payment once you reach a $15 USD balance in your account. Your second reward redemption can be made with $10 in your account, and all subsequent redemptions can then be made with just $5 worth of earnings in your account, if your account is in good standing.

Getting Notified for New Surveys

PaidViewpoint doesn't always send an email notification to members when a new survey becomes available. Instead, surveys are posted to user dashboards. Upon logging in, you’ll see a message at the top of your user dashboard listing the number of surveys available. PaidViewpoint recommends logging into your account regularly to be able to take these higher paying surveys, as opposed to waiting for an email invitation.

Increase Your TraitScore and Earn More

PaidViewpoint's patent pending TraitScore system was invented to assess and promote the candor and consistency of survey respondents. The higher your TraitScore, the more you can earn per Research survey. A high TraitScore allows you to receive the maximum number of surveys per month.

Survey Lengths

Survey lengths vary, but are typically between 5-6 minutes. All surveys have limits placed on the number of characters in a question (120-240) and in survey answers (90-120) to give a Twitter-like feel. The number of answer choices is limited. Long, classic, complex, matrix-type questions are forbidden and the number of open-ended questions (where you have to type in answers) is limited. The maximum number of questions in a survey is limited on average, to around just 10 questions long.

Daily Surveys

You can wait until new surveys are posted to your dashboard, but you can also take "Trait Surveys" and earn between $0.03 and $0.10, on most days. These Trait Surveys not only serve to regularly increase your earnings, but they also help increase your TraitScore. Note that receiving trait surveys regularly may depend on your region.

If you can refer friends from the USA in particular, you will likely find you can earn more.

VIP Community Builders

For members who can generate large numbers of referrals, PaidViewpoint offers a VIP Community Builder Club. The benefit of the club is that you'll be credited with 20% of a referred user's earnings immediately after they complete a survey, without having to wait to be credited until a referral cashes out their earnings.

To get this privilege, you must have 100+ active friends or referrals. “Active” means your referrals have been a member for more than 30 days and must be visiting the site and completing surveys on a regular basis.

Is Paidviewpoint Legit?

It's barely appropriate to even question whether Paidviewpoint is legit or a scam. PaidViewpoint is operated by AYTM (Ask Your Target Market) - a legitimate and well-regarded market research company with millions of members worldwide. They offer legitimate surveys to their respondents and pay them on time.

Although some users may have varying levels of success with the website (i.e. international users may find it difficult to find full paying surveys; surveys that pay more than $0.03 'trait surveys'), it doesn't mean that the panel itself is illegitimate, never mind a 'scam'. Paidviewpoint is a safe, secure, online surveys website.

First, the positive. As a former quality VP, I am impressed with the degree to which this survey company ensures quality answers from their panel members, which is reflected in the trait scores. Second, the surveys are generally shorter and less repetitive than other websites. Finally, in spite of comments to the contrary, I have found the payout process to be easy and have not encountered any issues. Now the negative. I have been doing online surveys for over 30 years. Top tier survey companies pay at least 8.00 per survey hour, meaning that a 15 minute survey pays at minimum 2.00. Some companies pay considerably more than this (ACOP, Survey Savvy, viz.). For some reason, PaidViewpoint--while so diligent and professional in their quality assurance endeavors--feels somehow that it is appropriate to pay less than a dollar for the majority of their surveys. I am not referring to the 10 cent trait surveys which are necessary to uphold their quality standards. I am talking about the main surveys. Why would a survey company think it is appropriate to pay only 20 cents or 50 cents to panelists who are offering valuable input to help large companies make better business decisions for their products. Now there are a few surveys that pay appropriately--at the noted 8.00 per survey hour rate. But many pay well under a dollar, and that is first of all highly disrespectful to the panelists; and also undermines the very quality standard which is essential to this survey company. Do they really think that most panel members--completing a survey for a few dimes--will give highly thoughtful, and reflective answers? I do hope that Paid Viewpoint will choose to pay their panelists fairly for the diligent and important work that they are called to do. I cannot in good conscience rate this company lower than 2.5 stars because they are an honest company with strong quality assurance standards. But the pay per survey--even with the understanding that the surveys are generally short--is frankly unconscionable.
