The length of each online survey varies, but most are between 5-7 minutes long. Surveys are rarely longer than 20 minutes, as this is considered a maximum.
As with any survey site, YouGov's survey topics can vary, however most of the time, they are politically focused. YouGov's surveys and polling results are frequently published in the media.
Compensation Per Survey
Most surveys will award between 500-1000 points; the longer the survey, generally, the more points that are awarded.
YouGov offers a variety of redemption options for members. Cash payments awarded via PayPal are an option, as are gift cards to retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, iTunes, Walmart, and more. YouGov branded merchandise is also available.
Gift card rewards take approximately 2-3 weeks to receive after redemption. Gift cards are physically mailed.

I've been a member for few yrs and enjoy most of their surveys and easy to do I like saving up points for Olive Garden gift cards but you can get a few different ones to pick, its nice to get something.
I signed up in May 2007 back when it was called PollingPoint. I finally redeemed the $100 reward in December 2011. That took about 180 surveys spanning over four years. There's the usual daily shopping or celebrity polls which I'm not fond of but still complete it but once in a while they'll do the political, health, or technology related polls which I do like.
Yes it may take a while to get the incentives. But you will never see "Sorry you didn't qualify or quota full". In fact since I've been with them I rather enjoy the politics side it. It makes them unique for that. They do need better rewards. But they still are way better than getting the "Sorry you didn't" screen.
Good, reliable panel. I often read survey results from YouGov in papers on serious political issues. I just wish they sent me these surveys and not fairly trivial ones about shopping etc.
Invitations are infrequent, but they do pay promptly when you reach £50. Recently they try and convert your survey points to prize draw entries, so be aware.
I do quite a few surveys some take so long to complete but with You Gov the surveys are not that long and I have never been disqualifed like others survey sites, I cashed out at $100. I find the surveys interesting and they usually pay 500 points or more per survey and sometimes I get 2 a day, you do get credited right away.
