REDEEMING REWARDS

Every campaign offers a stated reward which is rewarded after an assignment completion.

BzzAgent is a media network, operating since 2002, that recruits "BzzAgents" to evaluate products and services and then share their opinions on them with people they know. BzzAgent has over one million member agents around the world, and uses the idea of word of mouth communication to generate measurable results for marketers.

Influence the Biggest Brands

BzzAgent has an impressive client list which includes: L’Oréal, Nestle, Proctor & Gamble and Purina. You may be invited to test products from international companies and have a major influence on the brand!

Test Merchandise

Members must receive an invitation to a campaign in order to participate. Assignments usually involve testing merchandise and coupons/rebate offers for free samples and then writing/sharing their thoughts on the brand online and on social media.

Being Assigned an “Activity”

If you are asked to test a product, in many cases you will be assigned any or all of the following activities:

  • Posting to social media about the product (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram)
  • Writing a review about the product you have been instructed to use
  • Uploading photos and videos about a given product

Communication Directors (Comm Devs) then rate and respond to the activities you submit based on guidelines, and you are awarded points based on the quality of the “buzz”.

Online Surveys

In addition to testing products, BzzAgent invites its members to participate in quick online survey opportunities for extra points and rewards. These also help the organization it you with the right products that you’ll be excited to try.

Collect Points and Free Products

Receive MyPoints and sometimes free products in exchange for your BzzAgent participation. Feel good about sharing your opinion to the world and gaining something in return.

Build your BzzScore

Each member accumulates a BzzScore on a yearly basis. It ranges from zero to 10 and takes into account all of the activities you participate in. Depending your level of participation, your BzzScore may go up and down throughout the year. The following are ways to keep your BzzScore high:

  • Putting detail and attention into your assigned activities
  • Staying up to date on all the latest survey opportunities
  • Being an influencer by involving your fellow friends in your BzzActivites
  • Connecting your BzzAgent profile to your social media accounts

The better your BzzScore, the more invites you will receive for new campaigns. You can view your BzzScore at any time from your member home page.

Earn Rewards

BzzAgent offers rewards as you participate. Some are unlocked along the way and some contain little surprises to keep you interested and always wanting more. Rewards are rewarded after various milestones or achievements, such as: your 10th Tweet, an exceptional photo, your 25th review, etc.

Explore the BzzAgent website and catch up on the hottest trends in the “Latest Buzz” section. See what fellow users are saying about a variety of exciting products. Connect even further by following the BzzAgent Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages!

Not As Good As It Once Was

February 25, 2017 by Joyce from United States

I was in almost from the beginning here and I LOVED BzzAgent totally. Since they sold out, it's lower quality campaigns for lower quality products and that's truly sad. I used to check their website daily, hoping for some new, exciting opportunity. The quantity of opportunities has diminished sharply also. Even the "reward" points have plummeted. I feel thoroughly devalued by BzzAgent since the buyout occurred.

High expectations but disappointing

November 1, 2016 by Steve from United Kingdom

I've been a member of BzzAgent for about 18 months and have only received one product for review - and that was just in the form of a voucher that gave a partial discount on an expensive indigestion remedy (with worrying side-effects...) at a very limited range of stores. I've updated my profile regularly (usually once a week) and my BzzScore is at the maximum level, so there's not much more I can do. The profiling questions are a bit silly as the subject lines often don't match the content, and the same questions are asked repeatedly, week in and week out - very poorly managed, in my view.

The website seems friendly enough but it really hasn't delivered on its promises, as far as I am concerned anyway. I'll probably cancel my membership soon as it just isn't worth the time.

Seemed promising but was a huge let down

Their strategy is to hook you with one or two full sized products to review, and just continue to data mine you and not send you anything afterwards. I joined in February, and within two months, I received two full size products to review, one was a deodorant sample and one was a reusable duster, things I wasn't really interested in, and despite how I told them I am an avid beauty and skincare user and I review them online regularly even when I buy them with my own money. I filled out all their survives related to product reviews and surveys regarding personal info which they send you duplicates of every few months so you can update your info. I checked backed daily from May to September filling out their 20 or so duplicate survives, and campaign qualifiers, and then in July I stopped receiving campaign qualifiers all together, even though they bombarded me constantly with surveys regarding personal info.

It wasn't for me I guess

Lot of work

July 12, 2014 by si from United States

I do not get the high ratings.

It took like 3 months until I received the first "campaigns". The first 3 were clearly bs.

- a free trial to redbox instant that is free anyway
- coupons for claritin
- sign up to a free portal

My score is now 7.4 of 10.

The good thing is that you get points from mypoints.com for your reviews etc.

The bad is that you have to pretty much spam all of your friends and have to put in a lot of time for writing reviews, twitter posts, facebook posts etc.

Given that in other portals you also receive products to test (for the "price" of 1 follow up survey for which you get paid as well as the initial survey) that is not really great.

I will stick around for some more time and see if I get some decent campaigns.

For a box of cereals or a redbox trial the effort is to big.

If you are not into social media forget this portal as you will never get a good score that you need to receive campaigns.

Update: Downgraded to 1 star. It might deserve 2 but as there are so many unrealistic raving reviews I decided for one.
I stopped using the site.
The amount of work you have to put in does not stand in any relation to the outcome. You will have to spend hours writing reviews and reporting with whom you spoke about the stuff. You will also need to continuously spam all of your friends.
Last thing I received were coupons for some candles that did not even cover the purchase price.
