Great Rewards Options

In order to request a reward, you must have a minimum of 550 LifePoints ($5) in your account. Once you've reached this balance, you can spend your LifePoints on three main reward options: gift cards, PayPal payments and donations. Note that rewards options may vary between countries.

  • e-Gift cards - With just 550 points, you can request a $5 e-gift card from Amazon, Starbucks, Best Buy, Google Play, Apple Store, Marks & Spencer, Love2Shop, ebay, to gas stations, and more
  • PayPal payments - With 1200 points in your account, request a $10 PayPal payment.

Survey Lengths

Survey lengths vary, however most surveys will take between 10-15 minutes to complete. Compensation awarded for every survey varies, and depends on its length, as well as the client's urgency for survey takers to complete it. The more urgent the assignment, the more points it will offer.

waste of time now

Since they merged with Global Test Market, I have been able to complete only one survey despite having tried very many. I used to like Global Test Market and I was able to complete a reasonable amount of surveys. Now it's just a waste of time.

Lifepoints still has MySurvey issues

Lifepoints, formerly known as MySurvey.com is a survey site where you can earn rewards for spending considerable time answering personal questions. You can earn rewards from companies like PayPal, Target, and Amazon fairly quickly by survey site standards, but you will run into your fair share of headaches along the way.

I would say about 80% of the time LifePoints will credit you accurately when you've completed a survey, but users should know that cashing in your reward will take 5-7 business days, whereas sites like Ipsos take hours. LifePoints also offers diaries for things like Beverage consumption that last a week which offer between 500-800 points upon completion, but again, you have to wait 6-8 weeks for them to be credited, whereas Ipsos will credit you right away.

The most frustrating thing about LifePoints however, are the surveys you do complete, or to a lesser extent, the ones you spend a lot of time on that screen you out, but DON'T properly credit you. Customer service is not great, but there are a few things you can do to try and ensure that you do get the points you deserve:

1. Always copy down the number of the survey you're about to take BEFORE you start it (copy and paste into notepad). LifePoints does not provide a way to file a complaint about a specific survey (probably on purpose) and without the number you're lost.

2. Take screen-shots! The one thing you can do when you contact them is to provide screen-shots. If you're at 95% completion of a survey and you're worried you might get shafted, take a screen shot. If you've made it to the survey complete page, definitely take a screen shot! Attach them to your inquiry and you might have a better shot of getting your points.

3. If you get an auto-reply to your inquiry gently remind them that you've already provided proof, and you do have avenues to voice your displeasure, such as Survey Police. They're counting on you not following up and not telling anyone else that you've been treated unfairly.

I have been using MySurvey/LifePoints for over a decade and have cashed out thousands of dollars. You will have to invest considerable time you get significant payouts however, and you will encounter some frustrations. Overall it's a good site that could be great.

Nothing but problems

When Global test Market and My Surveys first became Life Points everything went well at first. However, shortly after I redeemed about $100 of the over $200 I had in rewards I could no longer log into my account for surveys. I kept getting a message that email or password are incorrect. I clicked on the forgot password link but never heard from them. I submitted several problem requests and was told several times that the issue has been resolved. It never was and still hasn't. I even looked for ways to contact them directly, but to no avail. Stay away from this site.

This is an awful site..just a rip off

Joined with the best of intentions..and worked with them..Time after time..when completely finished..I get a message..various messages but although you gave them your time..and energy..THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU ANYTHING..when applied to support..they take forever..if never check at all..Happened way tooo many times..I have finished surveys..and cannot believe they will not pay..or you work for them for 20 minutes..they say Nope..here is 3 points..A BIG waste oft time..so many other good ones out there..

survey issues

I really didn't want to do this but now it seems my hand is forced. I have done surveys with them prior to being LifePoints & they were pretty decent but one survey I was supposed to get 75 points & seems I've never got a response & today I was doing a survey & this one was supposed to be a 100 point one but the survey had technical issues & when I notified the Help Desk they said "sorry but you can't be given the points" so now I'm really thinking of when I get some other points from other stuff I've done I may just get my PayPal money & leave them for the dust. These ones I got real trust issues with big time.
