If you're wondering, 'how does MyPoints work?' the answer is simple. First off, it’s free to sign up for MyPoints. Simply enter your email address and desired password on its home page to begin the registration process. Once you’ve completed your profile, you’re free to begin earning points, which can ultimately be exchanged for rewards.

I have been with MyPoints since the 1990's. I primarily earn points through reading the emails and shopping but do some surveys too. They have always been great about applying points and tell you when points from shopping will be available for use on a reward. They have lots of different rewards to choose from and the mailed gift certificates do take a couple of weeks on average to arrive. You get an email telling you when it has shipped.

I love love love this site. There are so many different ways you can earn points and they have so many rewards to choose from! Whenever I buy something online, I check to see if they offer points for purchases (which usually they always do). They were having a promo over the holidays where if you bought something from groupon, they gave you 16 points per dollar spent. I always cash out in giftcards because it usually requires less points rather than asking for a cash payout. I get multiple giftcards a year! They send you emails every day with surveys or other point opportunities. It only takes a couple weeks for them to mail you your giftcard as well. I highly recommend this site!

The only downside I have noticed is that they offer coupons you can print out and redeem at stores and they say they give you points for each one you redeem but I have yet to see any points for my purchases using the coupons.

I like this site but it takes a long time to meet a $25.00 value reward. I don't use coupons and won't download any software from ANY site, so predictably, I have to answer a lot of redundant qualifying questions. Which by the way, with so much technology, why can't the background info. entered by me the first time still has to be entered each qualifying round? I'm just sayin...
