Share Your Opinions to Earn Rewards

Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

Sign up with Opinion Outpost to take paid surveys and complete product testing assignments in exchange for rewards. Simply join the site for free and receive invitations to complete online surveys on your computer or mobile device.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Note that rewards will vary slightly by country. For example, Air Miles Reward Miles are available to Canadian members only (receive 50 Air Miles for 100 Opinion Outpost points).

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Modern, Interactive Surveys

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost is over a decade old and is a legitimate survey site that pays approximately $5 million dollars in rewards to its members every year. I've been using Opinion Outpost for the past two months. Last month, I earned about $100, but I've learned a couple things:

1) Take the surveys when you can. There are times when the surveys are plentiful, and I do as many as possible during that session, because there'll be times when there's nothing at all.

2) Keep your eyes open for "burn" surveys. I call them "burns" because you spend a lot of time inputting information only to be screened out waaaaay into the survey. Sometimes, you'll get these surveys more than once, so pay attention to the content; there's one tire survey in particular that is a "5 points for 7 minutes" exercise and it asks a lot of questions, only to kick you out after asking what race you are at the end. *Do not waste your time if you come across this tire survey*!
(I actually reported this survey to Opinion Outpost, only to receive an odd answer about how it was my fault that I was screened out of a survey and how not to be screened out in the future. I wasn't actually complaining about being screened out in general--it happens--but I wanted to let them know there was a survey out there collecting all this information for free. I was assured in a second email that the surveys only get the information if the survey taker is compensated. I have to wonder why the surveys don't ask profile information first and foremost before all these other very specific questions, though.)

All in all, I haven't had any other problems with OO.

Updated: Another "burn survey": I had to sit through a ten-minute video about Seattle that promoted Starbucks, among other companies. After fifteen minutes in this survey, it told me they had enough respondents. *If you come across this survey, opt out!*

Yet another warning (I just want everyone to be aware of the pitfalls, and it seems like they are growing in number.): I started a survey about beverage drinking habits. It was supposed to last for two days, and they asked me to keep a "drinking diary." I spent a half hour on this survey the first day and was asked to return a second day. When I logged in for that second day, I was told that the survey was closed. In the future, I will not be taking multi-day surveys, as this was a huge waste of my time.

I'm a member of close to 10 different survey sites, and Opinion Outpost is BY FAR my favorite.

Out of all the other survey sites I have joined, opinion outpost is the only one that has given me the largest amount of surveys that i'm eligible for. It is also the only site that I rarely experience getting like 15 questions deep into a survey, only to find out that you aren't eligible, or the survey has suddenly filled up. AND it's the only survey site thus far that i've actually been able to collect enough points to redeem for money. I made $10 within a week or less, and I got the money in my paypal account about 24 hours after I requested it.

Good site and probably the best out there. lately rewarding some extra points as a nice gesture, but new thing is waits until you finish a survey and screens you out approx 1 out of 10 surveys this happens and that is annoying, but still best out there generally.

Opinion Outpost has been a great way to pay for some iTunes subscriptions and get some unessential items from Amazon. The income may not be much, but it is nice to be rewarded for having an opinion. When I did have an issue the support staff was very quick to rectify the problem!

I have tried other survey sites and they take so long just to get enough points to buy anything.Opinion Outpost pays well and is very dependable.Their customer service is always there for you and they have helped out a lot.
