Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Note that rewards will vary slightly by country. For example, Air Miles Reward Miles are available to Canadian members only (receive 50 Air Miles for 100 Opinion Outpost points).

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Opinion Outpost is an ok survey site - my main gripe is the inconsistent nature of their screening process. Sometimes they offer a survey and screen you out within 2-3 responses. .At other times, you seem to have been accepted into a survey, spend 5-10 minutes responding to multiple different screen types, type in your comments, and just as you think the survey is nearly over, it certainly IS over - 'thanks but you don't qualify' , here's 1 sweepstakes entry for you efforts. I'm looking to swap marketing input for cash, not to play games, lotteries, or collect gift cards.
Any suggestions? Thanx, JK

UPDATE - Opinion Outpost is much improved - qualifications are fairly frequent, 10 points = $1, you can cash out with $3 or more

I've tried to earn points or income from other survey sites and end up getting junk mail. So, I was very, very skeptical when I heard of this site. Color me surprised when I verified it was legit!!! I cashed in my points at Amazon and received it in the same day. Bought a couple hundred dollars of stuff I needed for my house like faucets, lights etc... It took many months to get those points but got them I did! I told all my family and friends about it.

I will admit like some people say they do kind of "cheat" you. You will start a survey and be five or ten minutes in and it kicks you out because you didn't "qualify". Thus, they got all that information from you for free.

Some days it's very frustrating you may start 20 surveys but only qualified for two or three for only ten points a day. I found it's best to just go in through their website and not wait on emails. Keep clicking on My Survey button until they till you to check back later. If you keep plugging away, eventually you will have enough points either for Amazon credits or go to your PayPal account. It feel like real work because some of the surveys are a real beating, extremely long and detailed and will take 30 minutes or longer!!! However, this site is very real & legit "too legit to quit..."

By far, Over the past 2 months, since I have Joined Opinion Outpost, 1 out of 6 Survey Sites I am a member of. It has offered up to me, Many Surveys, that are less then 20 minutes at Most, and Pay in points, which after 100 Points/You can cash out Via Paypal, And put it directly into your Bank Account. TRULY a Very Awesome Site, and Totally Trustworthy!!

Okay two weeks more of being a Fan of Opinion Outpost, and I have made another 27 Bucks, Just for sitting at my Computer and being Honest to their query's. You get to 100 points, BAM, Cash out and send it to Paypal. Last five times I have cashed out, it was approved in less then 24 hours. Another 10 Bucks of hard cold cash!! Thank-You!

seriously great site.i actually feel bad that some have had some bad experiences with this site.ive had nothing but good experiences.i usually cash out with amazon gift cards,and the codes are there within 20 minutes of me cashing out.low threshold of 5.00 cashout,easy surveys and they don't waste my time.i haven't had 1 bad experience with oo in over my 2 years of being a member.i honestly cant rate this site lower than a 6 star even though that isn't available.join,complete surveys,redeem.its been that easy for me ,sorry it hasn't worked out for some others.im sure if you contact them,they will resolve the issue.

terminated my account while I was trying to redeem my points. with no explanation only excuses sorry sorry.....you can't log in because it was terminated. I contacted them to find out why? they wrote (3 days ago, still no response)
