Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

Sign up with Opinion Outpost to take paid surveys and complete product testing assignments in exchange for rewards. Simply join the site for free and receive invitations to complete online surveys on your computer or mobile device.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost is over a decade old and is a legitimate survey site that pays approximately $5 million dollars in rewards to its members every year. I like this survey site; however, it appears participants do NOT qualify more often for points, takes longer to accumulate enough points to make a difference, wish there were higher points awarded for completion of surveys, and upsets me to complete the entire survey, sometimes lengthy surveys, to result in NOT qualifying - makes you wonder if it is truly worth participating.

This is true with a lot of the survey sites. I am a member/participant of 15 or more sites and this holds true for the majority of them.

Some of the surveys are really short and apt. Some are really irritatingly longer. In most you do get screened out. They could be better if they provide survey number. Most of the time you do not have survey number, so if you need to raise an issue, it would be a problem.

Only advantage is they cash out immediately. And get quite a lot of surveys.

Most of the surveys will make you complete 80-90% of the survey and then indicate that your disqualified due to numerous reasons. This can waste an hour or more of your time. Opinion Outpost claims they have no control over the surveys yet they can see that you completed 80-90% of the survey and they will not reward you, not even partial reward. Very disappointed in the direction this company is going.

I was really happy with Opinion Outpost after I started to get on a roll with surveys. Honestly, I was hooked! LOL, but one day, suddenly my account was frozen. I contacted the Help Desk and after several attempts, they responded telling me that my account was reactivated, I was given no explanation for the issue, but I was told that I violated their terms - I asked what I did wrong, but NO SPECIFICS WERE GIVEN. I resume with surveys, then I get to the cashout minimum of 100 points. I tried to cashout only to have my account frozen again. After sending them several messages I was told they were reviewing my membership and would let me know. After 3-4 weeks I noticed new email invites for surveys so I immediately signed into my account. Two hours later, I got an email from their Help Desk telling me that my account was reactivated again and I was free to resume, but they advised to wait at least 24 hours before attempting any surveys or cashout, better yet, you should wait 24 hours before accessing the account entirely, or it will most likely be FROZEN automatically by our system. I immediately emailed them to explain that I already accessed my account, I completed several surveys, and I had enough points to cashout already. The Help Desk ignored or refused to reply/acknowledge my concerns about accessing my account prior to the 24 hour window. Instead, they replied with their typical robotic reply that is probably a standard reply they copied from a template - I was told not to access my account before 24 hours passed, I told them AGAIN that I ALREADY DID ACCESS my account BEFORE I got their email warning me about the 24 hours. I assume they didn't answer me about that because they probably didn't know the answer, or they knew and didnt want to tell me. Well, I waited over 24 hours before I tried to do any more surveys, and I finally tried to cashout again only to have my account frozen. This time they wouldn't reactivate my account due to a violation of their terms and conditions. They NEVER told me what I did wrong! Only a violation! So I wasted so much time doing surveys only to be ripped off for the points 3 times! Thanks a lot Opinion Outpost! it's crazy that I have all the emails I sent to them, and I'd send the same question worded 3 ways in consecutive emails, and they completely avoid giving an answer or I get a generic response that has nothing to do with my question. I found nothing in the terms and conditions contain that I could've violated!

This was always one of my favorite survey sites. It went downhill for awhile, but I feel the need to update my review. They have gotten much better in recent months, but the surveys are usually for about 5 points ($.50). They still need more improvement!!
