Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

i have to say" at first i didn't think opinion outpost was legitimate so i wanted to tell everyone not to brag you won't get rich doing surveys but i've already earned over $100 within 30 days.if you don't qualify for a survey try the next one don't give up.also, your entered into their quarterly $10,000 cash drawing sweepstakes if you don't qualify for a survey.you won't qualify for every survey so you will be screened out unless you have a decent profile.according to some of the reviews here they are right you it does not pay as well but it will help you make a little extra money.you will also get paid to test products every once in while and they do pay you for that.i have to say"once you fill out your first survey it's addicting"opinion outpost is by far the top legitimate survey company and that is my review for this company.

I have been a member of Opinion Outpost since 12/17/2010 and have earned increasing amounts of Amazon gift certificates each year. This year, I am on track to exceed $60. There is also a cash option, which I have not used because I do not have a Pay Pal account.

Yes, there have been some problems - surveys incorrectly formatted, links to dead surveys, and other things. Much of this is not to be blamed on Opinion Outpost since they neither write nor host the surveys, only providing links to the survey hosts when / if you qualify.

I do wish they would target the surveys better. I often receive links to a survey which they want a child in my family to complete. I have no children at home, so it is useless to send me links for that type of survey. I also receive links to other surveys for which I am unqualified.

My other pet peeve is the broken or closed survey links I receive. Again, this is not a fault per se of Opinion Outpost, but I wish they could do something to prevent links being sent to closed surveys or to surveys that are improperly formatted...

I am happy with opinion outpost; I get the opportunity for plenty of surveys and have been able to cash in on a lot of Amazon gift cards. My only bone to pick with them is that the time to take a survey is often underestimated. It could be just me, because I like to really think my answers through before I choose one, but sometimes it's way off, like a "10 minute survey" will take half an hour. I'd say this happens more often than not. It has been a little more accurate the last couple of times I took a survey, though. The site is accurate in keeping track of my points, and surveys are available for me almost every day.

This is my go to survey site. Reason being is that it's very easy to get 10 dollars and be able to cash out. They always have new surveys up and constantly invite you to them , so as long as your available you could easily make enough to cash out in 5/6 surveys. I also love that when I choose to cash out I always use PayPal and once I click the button I get the funds within ten minutes. It's great! Although some surveys may be a bit longer most rage 10-33 minutes.
