Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

I started a month ago and it was going really great, I made like 20 dollars a week. I was on every day for hours and tried all surveys until it tells me no more. Recently weird things have been happening that make me so unhappy and disappointed. To begin with, sometimes I take a survey for 40 minutes and just when I am about to end, there's no "next" button or it tells me that I didn't qualify. I did email O.O about this but said they would see what they could do but that they were off on the 4rth of july. They never resolved it or awarded me the points. Some days it simply says there are no surveys for me, I update but still nothing. Yesterday I took a survey for over an hour, yes over an hour. It stated I was a valued member and I would be rewarded 200 points. It was a long, long survey. At the end of the survey it said that I was flagged for data concerns! what! I emailed them, still nothing. on my survey history it doesn't even note that I completed it. Very very unfair. To top it off, today I tried to get a reward for amazon with the 300 points I have but it will not work, the box to put in the points won't show up and when it does, it tells me I need to log in again. It's a cycle that never ends I feel like I have wasted my times, days! such a shame

I started using this site at the beginning of June and had absolutely no complaints. By the end of June I had accumulated $147 (anybody who says they cant make money on this site must be illiterate and have difficulty answering simple questions) Sometime at the beginning of July I attempted to log In and was hit with the infamous "your account has been flagged for data concerns" I started looking up this issue everywhere and it seemed to be an issue for users who took many surveys. At this point I assumed my account would be permanently closed, until today when I received an email from opinion outpost saying my account would be reactivated and the money in my account would still be there. When I was flagged for the data concerns based on what I read I never thought to receive an email much less an email that stated my account was being reactivated. Understandably If you're account has been flagged and never reactivated I understand your gripe with the company, otherwise those complaining that they don't make enough money It's not their fault that you most likely live in an area where your opinion is irrelevant; I.E. Idaho, Montana etc..

This is getting ridiculous. After answering a survey for over 40 minutes... Thinking I am in. It tells me "We have enough response." Not nice at all. My time is valuable. Then they want you to answer the questions to the BEST of your ability then short change us with a few points.

Good thing is that...it's easy to cash out!

I was a member for about 3 months. At first, it was awesome. I was getting lots of surveys, earning lots of points. Now, if a survey doesn't error out, it asks for information that nobody should be comfortable giving.

One survey wanted me to use their link to access my Amazon account.

Report this to Opinion Outpost, and you generally get blown off with a form letter that doesn't even touch on what you reported.

Site has gone downhill, fast.

I get a lot of survey offers through them, 50 to 100 a month. Many are for surveys where I am redirected to their partners. I want points for Amazon.com cards or a check, not sweepstakes entries. I also want an average of about a buck a survey or more that can be redeemed without having to wait months to accumulate enough points. I am in a narrow demographic and will get screened out a lot by anyone. It is a matter of how many shots I get at decent rewards. When it comes to survey companies, everybody partners with everyone, so it is a matter of choosing the best match for my individual needs. Opinion Outpost is one of my top two. When I cash in my rewards for Amazon points, the codes are in my email inbox in seconds!!!
