Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Was a decent survey site till it merged with survey spot.
Since then incentives have gone down while errors have gone way up.
Errors that appear after finishing a 20 - 30 minute survey which tell you that you don't qualify to take the survey that you were just told you finished.
Support is the usual crap that we'll look into it or we need to wait for "our partner" site to send info.

From what I see they have become part of the whole "partner" site scam where after being sent between the various partner sites and said sites being paid their share of the incentive for passing it on once the survey reaches the person taking it the incentive is far smaller than when it started.

Bottom line being that those of us who spend the time needed to honestly take a survey are being screwed over and having our incentive given to a handful of scum bags doing nothing but running a server or two,maybe more,under different survey site names while those who do the real work get screwed over.

The Good……
1.There points are easy to calculated 1 point= $0.10
2.They send several survey’s a day plus you can take them on their website
3.I have been with them for 7 days and I cashed out for 10.00
4.I redeemed my reward 100 points for $10 paypal.
5.My reward was paid INSTANTLY!!!! Yes you read that right INSTANTLY!

The not so good
1.Disqualify from a lot of survey’s, sometimes after five plus minutes.
2.If you take surveys that were not emailed to you, you have to answer a survey before the survey.
3.The incentives can be better, some sites pay twice what opinion outpost does, but they do not pay you in seconds.


As you can see the good does outweigh the bad, so far, so good.

I have been a member of Opinion Outpost for 6 months or so now, and have made about $100. They pay directly to my PayPal, which means I receive the money immediately after redeeming. Even if I don't receive emails for every survey, I can go into my account and complete surveys almost daily. The amount that I qualify for is about 50/50. Occasionally there are some technical issues or surveys that do not load, but the amount that work is worth it. If you don't qualify for a survey, you also get to play an instant win and I have won MANY points off of it. I have never had any problems getting my rewards. You the payout per survey is also generous - you typically get $0.50 to $1.50 per survey, meaning you can redeem for $10 after about 10-15 surveys. Overall, great quick & easy payout, and good amount of surveys. Great survey company.

I have done many surveys for OO. But for the past month I have ad nothing but problems getting credited for many of the surveys I have been doing. I emailed them repeatedly, telling them some of my surveys are not getting credited to me and I get lame excuses, and don't get paid for my time. I have probably done over 7.00 worth or probably more, that haven't been credited. Sometimes a survey will end and I will submit it and see no points added, sometimes the survey says AFTER I FINISH, that I have done the survey before and it doesn't credit. I am the only one that does surveys, and I don't do a survey more than once. This is just lies so they don't have to pay you. The use to be a 5 star survey site, now I wouldn't even give them a one star. I'm turning them into the BBB for not paying for many of these surveys, I urge others to do the same if they are having problems like this.
