Valued Opinions is an online survey panel where members can earn cash and gift cards in exchange for participating in paid surveys and product tests.

Most surveys offer rewards of between $1 and $7 per completion. A minimum account balance of just $10 is needed in order to request a reward.

Joining is Easy

You can register a free Valued Opinions account within minutes - simply enter your name, address, email address and desired password on the registration page. If you prefer, you can link your Facebook account and register using the details stored there.

You’ll be prompted to fill more information in your profile after you’ve registered - and doing so will improve your chances of being eligible for a wide range of surveys.

Complete the Basic Profile, Receive $1.00

After registering with the site, you will be e-mailed an offer to complete your account profile (which takes 6 minutes) in exchange for $1.00. This will help kick-start the number of surveys you will be eligible to complete. After completing the basic profile, you can also complete additional profile information regarding your household, shopping habits, etc. which will help you qualify for even more surveys.

Reward Amounts

Valued Opinions surveys typically reward between $1 and $7, although at times you may be sent unpaid surveys to help with identifying your unique interests. The typical survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete, however the estimated time is always outlined beforehand.

For every survey completion, you will receive "cash" deposited into your account immediately after completing a survey. This can be converted into a wide range of rewards.

Survey Rewards

Your Valued Opinions earnings can be redeemed for the following rewards once a minimum of $10 is collected:

• Magazine subscriptions - 1-year magazine subscriptions to Cosmopolitan, ELLE Decor, Food Network, Magazine Midwest Living, and Women's Health for $15 in rewards.
• Restaurant gift cards - Dominos pizza, Chili's, and Restaurant.com available in $15 or $20 denominations.
• Airline miles - Get 600 Rapid Rewards Points for $15 in rewards, or 825 points for $20.
• Retail gift cards - Options include: Amazon.com, Apple, CVS Pharmacy, Fragrance.net, Macy's, Target, and the Home Depot, each in $20 denominations.
• Pack & Go gift card - this one $25 gift card can be redeemed at a Chevron, Texaco, Airbnb or Southwest.

These rewards apply to USA members, though are very similar in other countries.

Rewards Redemption

Electronic gift vouchers are typically delivered within 24 hours of request. It can take a few weeks for rewards such as magazine subscriptions to take effect and be mailed to your physical address.

More Than Just Surveys!

Valued Opinions offers various types of ways to participate on their panel. Although online surveys are what they primarily offer, you may also be given opportunities to participate in diary studies (which are surveys that span multiple days and involve logging information), and you may be selected to test products from home.

Member Badges

Valued Opinions offers a unique program which involves its more active members collecting "badges" for their level of participation. There are 5 levels that can be achieved with mini tasks that must be completed: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found in the Survey History section. These will display as a 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Valued Opinions Monthly Red Cross Donations

Every month, Valued Opinions donates $10,000 of its profits to the American Red Cross. By participating in Valued Opinion surveys regularly, you are helping make the lives of those affected by disaster and emergency all over the world, a little bit easier.

Is Valued Opinions Legit or a Scam?

Valued Opinions is a legitimate online survey site that has over 3 million members worldwide and was established in 2004. The panel is available in over 15 languages across more than 20 different countries and abides by the strict rules laid out by the Market Research Association and the Market Research Society, making them a safe website and not a scam. Valued Opinions guarantees that the information you provide to them remains secure and every piece of data is kept anonymous and confidential.

Although the Valued Opinions website is safe to use, your personal experience with the program may vary. As with any survey site, it's helpful to consult other people's opinions via the Valued Opinions reviews below, before joining.

Eligibility: USA residents must be 13+, UK residents must be 16+, Australia residents must be 14+. Other countries that Valued Opinions accepts membership from include: India, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Venezuela, France, and Ireland.

My reply to their stock reply to all of those that were accused of "inconsistencies" and were culled this March;

"Thank you for your copy/pasted mass-reply

This canned response has already been documented on your Facebook page, your sister outfit, e-Rewards page, and is now gaining momentum on the Survey Police site, as well as Frequent Miler e-Rewards talks back and offers a smidgen of hope - Frequent Miler

Given the scale of this recent cull, I challenge you to provide evidence of these ambiguous "inconsistencies" that are attributable to me.

Ironic, given the numerous instances when you have failed to pay out the largely sub-£1 payouts offered for data that you sell to clients for vastly more.

Fortunately for me, I always cash out ASAP (albeit minus the 50 pence "admin" fee that you have the gall to claw back from these already meagre earnings.

So at least you didn't get too much data for completely free,

I await a factual, non-evasive and genuine response.

I won't hold my breath"

Update 31/03/2017. E-Rewards (Valued Opinion's partnering outfit) have now deleted their most recent Facebook post which contained the majority of comments from affected members. They now appear to be in lockdown and are not replying to communication.

My Valued Opinions account is now also confirmed as suspended with credits irretrievable, in their reply they had the gall to state that I will not be able to cash out.

If you have an active Valued Opinions or E-Rewards account, my suggestion is to cash out and quit while you have the option. This isn't over yet, the reviews coming in daily confirm this.

I was with this company for about 2 years. I never had a problem till recently. I earned enough currency to redeem a gift card. It said I would get it in my e-mail in about 10 days. I waited 16 days and didn't receive anything. I contacted them to ask what was going on. I then received a reply from Brie saying there were discrepancies in my account and my account was being closed. I then got very upset as I would never do anything to jeopardize my account. I am always honest with my answers and take taking surveys very seriously. I replied asking what happened and haven't heard anything. Upon this happening I decided to look into this. I found this has been happening a lot and people are receiving the same message from Brie and having their accounts closed for no reason. Do not use this site. Before this happened I had nothing but good things to say about this site.. Now I feel cheated and used. I also noticed right before this happened to me. I'd be taking surveys and finish the whole thing and not receive my credit. I found i'm not the only one this is happening to.

I've been a member of Valued Opinions for a few years now and never had a problem until recently. I logged into my account from a different computer and ever since then couldn't login to my account. Valued Opinions conveniently don't have a contact phone number so I sent 5 emails and finally got a response saying there were "inconsistencies in the data I had provided" and that as a result my account was closed. I have since sent another 6 emails with no response and when I sent another one today I got an automated response saying they can't assist me as my account has been disabled. I have now sent a message through facebook as there is no other way to contact them but must say this experience has been an extreme shock as I love surveys and giving my opinions and like to think my small voice can make a difference. I have never been treated with such disregard and almost contempt from any company. I have given them my valuable time and opinions for years and this feels a lot like they've chewed me up and spat me out. I cannot recommend Valued Opinions to anyone after this. They aren't living up to their own name as my opinion certainly isn't valued. There are much better survey companies out there that actually do value your opinion.

In saying that though, if they make an attempt to rectify this mystery problem and apologise for how they've treated me, I'll be sure to leave another review to let you all know. I like to give second chances.

WARNING! -- I have been doing surveys with them for several years, but now they have locked me out of my account . I have almost 100 dollars worth of surveys completed and it looks like I will not get paid. I have called and sent emails to them numerous times over the past few weeks, but I have not received a response. This is a terrible way to treat a long time customer! -- I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
