getting worse

September 17, 2010 by disappointed from Canada

I have been with them for about 3 years now and I am about to quit. Their links do not work properly - it happens somehow with those higher paid surveys. They are incapable of giving back the link and only "apologize for inconvenience", but that is where it ends. I am endlessly plagued with sweepstakes type of surveys which a waste of time. And the endless waiting to claim the reward - in 100 point rank usually makes it not worthwhile. I would say go with Pine Cone Research. The payment is always the same - 5$ - and they deliver it immediately.

Putting It In Perspective

September 17, 2010 by Ashley from Canada

I have signed up for just about every survey/opinion panel I can and Web Perspectives is the only one I actually recommend.
I have never been able to get enough surveys to "cash out" on any panel except Web Perspectives, where I just hit $10 after a couple of months. Every other panel either screens me out, or their surveys are few and far between. I started off getting mostly Sweepstakes Only surveys from them, but now that I've "proven myself" I guess, I get more for real rewards.
They seem to send out a lot less "Sweepstakes Only" reward surveys than most other companies, and their rewards are actually reasonable, 1000 points for a $10 gift card or what have you. I have been a member of other panels for longer and have yet to see any reward.

Goodbye Webperspectives

September 17, 2010 by Doug from Canada

As the title of my review says, goodbye webperspectives....hello new and improved website which unfortunately took this company from very good to a waste of time. I'm not interested in 9 of 10 surveys for a "sweepstakes entry". I don't even play the lottery, nor do I think there are any actual prizes.I also highly doubt that the customer service person Jennifer is nothing more than a codename that everyone in customer service uses to apparently give the company a more personal feel as if you are having the attention of one important person. Many company's seem to do this though so.....Anyhow, used to be you could do a few surveys and boom, chapters giftcard. Now it takes more than a few and forever to have the points applied, as in 3 and 4 months. I would suggest picking up pennies on the street as a faster method of making money!

SCAM!

September 17, 2010 by T from Canada

You RARELY receive points for taking their surveys. You'll spend 30 minutes doing a survey only to be told 'sorry you do not qualify' when you've basically answered all of the questions. It seems as if they're getting your answers and telling you that you don't qualify so they don't have to give you points. If you do qualify, your points are 'pending.' I had several hundred points in my 'pending' folder, only to find out that I didn't receive the points. They magically disappeared. I didn't bother e-mailing them to inquire about it as I have already wasted enough of my time doing their surveys with nothing to show for it.

I DO NOT recommend signing up with this survey company unless you want to spend your time out of the goodness of your heart. It's a waste of your time if you're expecting points.

Changed for better of for worse ?

September 17, 2010 by Patricia from Canada

Hello, I thought I would post a review because I see the're hasn't been one in a while.
They recently changed their program with points that still pay via Paypal. It is mostly sweeps surveys. I am disappoited. On the good side they have improved by giving panelists an account log in to check their survey history and are now able to change their e-mail etc... without any problems.
I rarely received one with a points incentive and when I do it is hard to qualify, but they are very generous with the points ! Their surveys are not long though. That is one of the main reasons I stay. I am waiting this one out hoping my luck will improve. In my opinion a points program should not have any sweepstakes surveys. I would love to know what other panelists think of the new points program.
