Payment and Rewards

Earn £1.00 for Every 5 Minutes

Y Live gives its members the opportunity to earn £1.00 for every 5 minutes they spend on a survey. Depending on the length, most surveys pay between 1 to 3 points each (1 point = £1.00) and take usually about 5 to 15 minutes to finish. Please note that rewards will only be credited to your account once the survey is closed. This could range from one day to three months, depending on the research and nature of the study.

Cash in at £50.00

Once you have accumulated 50 points (£50.00) you are eligible to request a cheque or a BACS payment at the next payment date. The payment date is at the end of each month and if you requested a cheque, it will arrive within two weeks after this date. BACS payments typically take a few days to arrive. On average, Y Live issues 3000 monthly cheques to members who have reached the threshold for payment.

Waste of time

December 13, 2017 by Denis from United Kingdom

Total waste of time. So many surveys recently, and I haven't been able to complete ANY of them. Oh ok, so I get a chance to win £250 in their draws, but I would rather have guaranteed cash. I had £18 for 2 years and only once in 10 years did I get a payout. I think most survey companies are going the same way. They get you to answer questions, and then decide you have been screened out at the last minute.

Rubbish

Lets you complete about 50 questions, wasting your time, before telling you it has received enough surveys from your demographic.

Not Trustworthy

March 21, 2016 by Fiona from United Kingdom

Today I spent around 40 mins doing a survey. My postcode was asked for twice within the first 5 questions. At the very end of the survey, I was informed it was invalid as my postcodes did not match. I admit I could have easily made a typo, however, I should have been declined at the beginning when it happened if that was the case, and not after it was completed. Very annoyed about this.

I took surveys for this company for about six months. The only thing I was able to get after reaching around 70000 points was a subscription to Allure magazine for $10.

Be careful with this one

February 28, 2015 by Leo from United Kingdom

I completed a few successful surveys, not well rewarded for the time but ok.
Then I completed a survey that was lost, c-s could not locate it.
Finally, I was completing a very long one, at the end I made a mistake with repetitive demographics questions, one was a kind of tricky questions, and survey was invalid.
I like the herring questions because it keeps results true and valid, however, that one was a repetitive question, formulated in a misleading way, at the end of a survey that was anyway a long one, and much longer than stated, which makes the survey poorly rewarded, and they don't care about you being a human being who after 55 min survey can feel a little tired and 'used'.
Of course, c-s did not bother to check what I did explain. So I don't bother with them any further.
