Read the fine print, folks.

I decided [belatedly] to check out the rules regarding one of the surveys that the Angus Reid Forum sent to me... did anyone realize that you are signing away your public & private rights if Angus Reid so chooses? Check out the excerpt below... this company takes NO responsibility AND they can publish your NAME, ADDRESS, VOICE, PHOTO, & COMMENTS if they want to!!!!!!!!! This is what you are signing away when you agree to one of their surveys! DON"T DO IT!!!

""compliance with these Contest Rules and Regulations; (ii) releases and forever discharges VC, its affiliates and subsidiaries and its advertising and promotional agencies from all claims, demands, damages, actions and causes of action arising or to arise by reason of the acceptance or use of the Prize; and (iii) gives permission to VC, at its option, to publish or otherwise use the Entrant's name, address, photograph, voice and comments, without compensation, in any publicity carried out by VC or its advertising agencies.""

Works for me

The frequency of the surveys work for me, and I've had no problem with them holding back surveys. I cashed out my first $50 which did take a while, but now I've almost reached my next $50 in probably half the time. Plus it's cool watching the news hearing the results of the latest Angus Reid survey and you know you were a part of that!

You will not be able to earn enough to cash out

September 17, 2010 by C from Canada

Surveys generally provide $1 per survey completed, while most surveys are sweepstakes entries. After accumulating $30, which took 3 years, all surveys stopped coming.

Angus Reid sent out a survey a few months ago to rate them and offer any comments we may have. I stated it was not ethical to stop sending surveys after a member is a few surveys away from being able to cash out (you must reach $50). After that, a few surveys started coming again (about 1-2 per month).

Since that time that I provided my comments (many months ago), I only earned $2.

After all these years, I was never able to cash out and receive an incentive for the surveys I completed.

They will not compensate you appropriately for your time. Stay away and choose more reputable survey companies that actually reward their members accordingly.

bad cash out

angus reid is a good panel, they paid 3 up to 5$ per survey complete but the cash out(payout) is very high 50$ and they do not send a lot of surveys so you have to complete survey for 1 years to have your 50$
