Be Cautious

January 12, 2019 by Jeffery from United States

Dear Members who use My Points; I think it would be wise to take every protective step in dealing with this site. Something internally has happened where their customer service in missing points has gotten pathetic in having to chase your points whether from Shopping or Deals. Also be careful in taking screen shots if you attempt getting points for your time from surveys. My Points takes no liability in any technical problems if you get through the survey and should get awarded but either get that you don't qualify for the survey or technical problem in confirming completion so screenshot in this situation. Just encountered false advertising in signing up for a deal that clearly stated 500 points I get notified I got 150 points and I tried to go back to the offer to read the terms and the offer is gone from the site. Shady shady shady. I will probably cash out my points and say bye.

Dishonest arrogance

December 29, 2018 by Jerzy from United States

I regret that I did not read earlier comments posted in these reviews on 11/8/18 by 'Sam from United States'. My experience is almost IDENTICAL, word by word. They induce you to make donations to some legitimate charities, but then refuse to honor their clear, written commitment to credit your account with previously promised 'POINTS' .

Surveys

December 16, 2018 by Laurel from United States

My points used to be a good place for surveys and making points. But now it seems that when I try to complete a survey I don't meet the demographics or I just get some kind of notice that I do not meet the criteria. They never used to be like this . They used to be more user friendly. So disappointed.

No Customer Service

October 19, 2018 by Frances from United States

Like others I have participated in this reward program for many years but as of late I have had real problems. My last two large purchases were not rewarded at all. The real problem is that each time I contacted them I received the same generic form email in response which is not a response at all. From now on I will get the five points for opening a website when available but if I make a purchase it's EBATES all the way. Hope they don't go under before I cash out!! I can't believe their fate won't be determined by their complete lack of customer service.

Used to be great

October 17, 2018 by ANTHONY from United States

I was a member for 20 years and have cashed out many times. I used to save my points for years without cashing out, so I could save for a major purchase. A few months ago, I had approximately $120 worth of points for an Amazon gift card. However, one day my balance magically went down to 0! After several emails to investigate, I was told that my account was breached and I was advised by customer service that I needed to go through this onerous 12 step procedure to reactivate my account. This involved that I not only change my e-mail address but also changing the BIOS settings of my computer and other technical acrobatic procedures. In other words, Mypoints was basically telling me "tough luck". Beware!
