If you're wondering, 'how does MyPoints work?' the answer is simple. First off, it’s free to sign up for MyPoints. Simply enter your email address and desired password on its home page to begin the registration process. Once you’ve completed your profile, you’re free to begin earning points, which can ultimately be exchanged for rewards.

There are a variety of different activities you can complete to earn points (listed below), however the quickest way to earn points is by shopping with one of MyPoints’ 1,900 retail partners. MyPoints has surveys, but it isnt their primary purpose. Its mostly a shopping portal, that rewards you points for shopping and such. Tons of gift cards to redeem from and they recently added PayPal & Visa Debit Cards.

Other than the 10pts they give you for a survey DQ, they(the surveys)arent worth doing. It's mainly OTX stuff; although I lucked up on a product test a few times. Ive been a member since 2001 (only really active for last 3 years or so), and have earned about $1000 cash & gift cards back. Seriously consider buying some of the things you buy at the store online. You'll be making your own discounts with the cash back.

This is probably my favorite site to earn something extra and I belong to, probably 30 different survey sites. You can earn points for reading "bonus mail", using coupons, doing surveys, signing up for free offers (most of which are newsletters), signing up for paid offers like Netflix, playing games, shopping online, using their search bar and probably a lot more I am forgetting. I earned about $50.00 every 4 months last year (not much shopping involved) but with the holiday shopping I have earned $125.00 in 1 month alone, and those were not large purchases.

You get more points for shopping via their website. For the incessant online shopper, or if you buy expensive things like plane tickets, this is GREAT. LOTS of points for plane tickets, cable packages, etc. Otherwise, I get 10-15 surveys per month, (10 points for non-qualifying and 50 for finishing surveys) and earn close to 200 points per month for clicking ads. The incentives are spectacular! Lots of stuff to choose from, and things like giftcards arrive within 2 weeks. Customer service is also good, with fairly quick responses. If you work at it, you can earn lots of cool stuff.

MyPoints is not a survey site. However, they do send out surveys occasionally; however, I've never qualified for any of their surveys in the last 3 months. They are a shoppers' site mainly. You earn points by purchasing products thru them, and going thru their site to do searches, shop online, play games, etc. You can earn points quickly or not, depending on how much you use the site. You cash in points for gift cards and/or online purchasing. I recommend it.

This company is totally awesome aside from the surveys they give out. The problem is they constantly send out OTX surveys, which almost always results in the survey taker not qualifying. Even still, if you make purchases online even if only a little it is totally worth being a member. You have the ability to make points through simply looking at e-mail ads, doing offers, and through online purchases. With enough points one can get a gift card for one of the many different places offered at amounts of $10, $25,and / or $50. Don't join expecting to take quality surveys, but do join expecting to accumulate points in other ways. It is worth it!
