Great Company for Accumulating Points not through Surveys

September 17, 2010 by Guiselle from United States

This company is totally awesome aside from the surveys they give out. The problem is they constantly send out OTX surveys, which almost always results in the survey taker not qualifying. Even still, if you make purchases online even if only a little it is totally worth being a member. You have the ability to make points through simply looking at e-mail ads, doing offers, and through online purchases. With enough points one can get a gift card for one of the many different places offered at amounts of $10, $25,and / or $50. Don't join expecting to take quality surveys, but do join expecting to accumulate points in other ways. It is worth it!

Great for online shoppers.

My mom, sister, and I all do mypoints. My mom found it and got my sister and I hooked on it, since we all do online shopping a lot its nice to get something back. I have cashed out many times and they come really fast. I am not just saying that, I leave in alaska and I got my gift card in a little over a week.
Yes, they use OTX, SOMETIMES for surveys, I have gottan a number of them not being them and got any where from 50-250 points.
SO don't look down on a site because it didn't work out for you when people like me and my family have gottan a lot from them.
Anybody looking at this and wondering about it TRY IT for yourself! It's a great site to get money back on money you have spent!

Not so much for surveys

September 17, 2010 by Amy from United States

They do offer surveys, but they aren't the best. However, you can earn 5 points for visiting merchant websites. You, of course, can earn more points for making purchases -- with already reputable companies. I have made a good number of purchases myself, esp. for holiday shopping. I have also racked up a lot of mypoints.

I have been a member of mypoints for several years. Today, all of a sudden, they have accused me of some violation (vague, don't know what violation), referred me to their policies, and locked me out of their site. I lost my accumulated rewards points. It's a huge time and money waster to bother with it given that they can just yank your points out from under you with no explanation. I will complain to the merchants that I shop with also.

If you shop online, its for you

September 17, 2010 by jay from United States

This site sends out A LOT of emails. They give out points for shopping online and even just checking out a website. I've cashed out several times, mainly because I open all the emails and take some of the surveys they send to my Inbox, which are usually worth 50 pts alone. The cash out level is 1400 pts for a $10 gift card-they have plenty types of cards to choose from.

In my experience, they're honest and send rewards quickly (within 2 weeks). Also, they give generous rewards when you purchase through their website-which simply means logging into their site before shopping online. I'd recommend it.
