Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

• exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
• exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
• exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
• exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

MySurvey offers traditional online surveys, whose payouts will depend upon the length and complexity of the survey offered.

Product Testing Opportunities

Occasionally MySurvey may offer product testing opportunities to their members.

Video Surveys

My Survey recently introduced to its members the opportunity to take webcam and video surveys.

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

In the past this was a good site. This is no longer true. In June for no apparent reason they deactivated my account. Numerous e-mails to them since then, have had no effect. They have not reactivated my account, nor have they told me why they did this.

What is interesting about this, is that I had cashed in a good number of my points for a $50 cash reward in June. It was shortly after that, that they deactivated my account. It seems to me they were trying to prevent me from cashing in the rest of my points!

Long surveys that once finished you do NOT get your points for. Serious waste of time. Have tried twice to be fair. 2nd time worse than first.

I've been with MySurvey for about 7 years and it's a love/hate relationship. They have a lot of surveys but too many of them have errors at the end and you don't get credit for completion. Their customer service is also a little sketchy. I go 5-6 months at a time not doing surveys. On the other hand, there are a lot and the points are fair. They also reward you fairly quickly. I think they're worth a shot.

Well they are now history to me poor paying surveys and unsatisfactory support were the death of them to me. They are not missed

This was the first panel I ever joined and will likely be the first I quit. I have seen their reward points for surveys drop by more than 50%! The norm nowadays is a 20 point survey! If you're lucky enough to complete 58 of these you can get a $10 check! Whoppee!!!

Definitely a mixed bag here! They have been around a long time , but in some ways you tend to wonder how. There seem to be more bad points than good.

The surveys come from both the site's various sister companies as well as from outside ones. The points per survey are generally decent , but some have time estimates that are way off due to either slow load times or way more questions than would take the time listed. The topics are a mixed bag and the disqualification percentage is about normal. One problem is that all too often a survey returns to the site with an error message once at the MySurvey site. No points are received , but the survey may be audited in a short while and the points will credit. Otherwise , those points are lost. Best bet is to write down each survey number , just in case.

There are also diary type surveys that pay reasonably well and take a week to a month. They are not that hard to do , just a bit tedious at times. However , when they are completed and submitted , they have been hitting an error message upon returning to the site for well over a year. They will be audited and you will get the points , but it is annoying. They have never fixed this as of this time.

If you disqualify from a survey or answer a mini-poll , you get entries into a quarterly sweepstakes. The prizes are monetary , but are paid in the equivalent credits to your account. The sweeps are for US members only per the rules. However , the most recent (JUL/AUG/SEP 2017) winners list was all foreigners - not a single winner from North America!! It was reported , but nothing was ever done about it.

Your points can be redeemed for cash , Paypal , gift cards , or merchandise through the redemption department. Decent selection and turnaround is reasonably prompt.

The site's big negative is in their customer service and support. They have a Help Desk where you enter your issues along with the survey number (if applicable) and they are supposed to get back to you. That may take anywhere from a day to a week - way too slow. Also , instead of one person taking an inquiry and owning it , it seems that whoever comes along replies to it , thus resulting in a hodgepodge of responses. Responses may be personally written and address the issue or a canned one that has nothing to do with the query. With luck and persistence , you will hopefully get a resolution.
