Beginning early 2019, Lightspeed shut down MySurvey in some countries, and merged those members into LifePoints. In June of 2019, MySurvey panels and members worldwide were fully integrated into LifePoints.

MySurvey is an online survey community where members can influence the future of the products and services that they use each and every day. They've rewarded over $32 million USD worldwide to date! MySurvey is part of Lightspeed, both owned by WPP, one of the world's leading communications services groups. MySurvey has been collecting American opinions since 1946 as National Family Opinion, NFO and TNS. Payment and Rewards

Survey Types

Take online surveys on a variety of different topics. Typically survey payouts are between $0.50 to $1.25. Surveys vary in length, but usually you earn 10 points per 5 minutes of taking part in a survey.

Redeeming Your Points

1,000 points are the equivalent of $10 USD. You need at least 1,000 points to begin redeeming your rewards. Points are generally rewarded once the survey has been completed, but in some cases, points will be rewarded after the survey closes (which could take up to 3 months).

Reward Types and Amounts

My Survey offers an extensive number of reward options:

  • exchange your points for a payment to your PayPal account. 1,000 points = $10 PayPal payment
  • exchange your points for an e-voucher from a variety of different retailers. These include: Amazon, Boston Pizza, Aldo, Macy's, Payless Shoes, the Olive Garden, and many more (1,000 points = $10 gift card).
  • exchange your points for a cash donation to a variety of different charities. (1,000 points = $10 charity donation).
  • exchange your points for merchandise including small electronics, jewelry, small kitchen appliances, more. There are dozens of options to choose from. Point amounts vary per item.

Community Features

Referral Program

MySurvey offers a referral program whereby referring friends and family from other households will net you 150 points (worth approximately $1.50).

Bonus Sweepstakes Opportunities

Every month, a few members are randomly selected to receive 10,000 points in exchange for being active on MySurvey. You receive an entry into the sweepstakes when you join the MySurvey panel and participate in panel activities (surveys, quick matches, mini polls or other activities offered).

For certain surveys completed, you will receive an entry into this same sweepstakes. The more you participate, the better your chances of winning the draw. The quarterly draw is for the following prizes: (1) reward of 500 Panel Points, (2) rewards of $250 Panel Points and (100) rewards of $10 Panel Points. If you win, you will be notified via email within 10 days of the draw.

Eligibility: Must be age 16+ to participate in USA, 14+ in Canada. Other countries may vary.

Pretty, pretty, pretty, good.

I've been a LightSpeed member for around a year now. I average around 15-20 survey invitations per month. I'd say I qualify for a little less than half of them. In the past year I've cashed out over $200.00. I always redeem my points for the PayPal payment and have never had any issues being paid. I've even been able to participate in a few product tests (including 1 for $60.00 to carry around a PDA for 2 weeks and track my snack food consumption.)

The only issue is the customer service. IT SUCKS. I've really only had about 3 survey issues. Each time I e-mailed customer service. The first 2 times I received no response. The last time was right before Thanksgiving and I did receive a response saying it could take until the Monday after Thanksgiving to receive a response due to the holiday. Well that week passed and I never received a response, even after sending another e-mail.

All in all this is a pretty good site. Just hope you don't have to contact customer service

I've emailed customer service about 6 times so far and I've never received a response. I would't recommend joining this company because if you have a problem there will be nobody there to help you.

Hello all.
There is three ways to get support from lightspeed:

1.) Call there i-888 number and talk to there support manager. (( by the way if you do call plan on being on the phone for about three hours.))

2.) Call or email the BBB in there state and wait for a week and you will get support.

3.) Contact the FTC by phone or use the contact forum on there website or mail them. here is there site urls:

It's great once you get going. But like others, if your computer is slow, or your fingers happen to click the wrong key, you get thrown off, and forget the survey! AND, getting hold of someone is impossible!

AND, a few times, I have had problems having the points credited to my account, due to problems with THEIR website. Again, contacting Lauren, is like contacting Santa Claus. Good luck with that one! But I do have to say, so far, in just a year, I've redeemed 3 gift cards. Not too bad!

They Never Reply to Problems

I have taken surveys more than once where I have completed the survey,but it still appears in my available surveys, plus I am not credited for them. When I e-mail Lightspeed they NEVER reply. A very rude company that pays when when it wants to.
