The USA equivalent of this program is the National Consumer Panel. The Canadian version is Nielsen Homescan.
For decades, Nielsen has set the standard for global market and consumer insight research. Their insights are based on representative samples of the population and help our clients (e.g., manufacturers, retailers, non-profits and governments) learn about what consumers watch, buy, their preferences and behaviors. Nielsen Consumer Panel represent a variety of households nationally and helps them learn about how consumers view and interact with various brands.
Record Your Purchases and Get Rewarded
As a panel member, Nielsen Consumer Panel will ask you to record all of your weekly purchases. Simply record each of the items you've purchased into the Nielsen Diary, and enter the price from the receipt. Every 2 weeks, an auditor will come to your home to record your purchases in their hand-held terminal. The scanner's memory will save all of the information that the auditor scans. Once the Auditor is complete and the purchase recordings are aligned, the Auditor will sync the data straight to Head Office.

tried to sign up for days, even emailed them back and forth and they couldnt help me sign up because it didnt like bing, edge or opera, finally worked on firefox and they told me to get lost and i wasnt for their site, what a joke, dont even waste your time.

I found out today that I have been dropped having participated in this panel for well over 5 years. This has been a challenging year for everyone with COVID-19. While God has sparred me of this illness we have all been impacted. I’ve just gone inside a grocery store yesterday. I have to be careful and someone gifted me with shopping for me. I did not record those purchases and honestly other things became more important that scanning over the past 7 months.
I lost all of my 82K points and rewards that were earned (gift cards at Amazon valued over $100). His company didn’t contact me with a warning, no call and no courtesy to cash me out. I’m extremely disappointed. It takes a lot to scan every item, every week. I was diligent in doing so. While the timeframe to earn rewards is slower than newer companies I still plugged at it until this year. I was told my account will not be reactivated and I’m on a waiting list.
I am writing this review to share my experience. And advise that having had this impact, look at other options and read the FAQ’s because there are other options that will provide same if not better awards for your time and won’t rob you of the rewards you earned.

Received absolutely nothing for about 6 months worth of scanning. The awards catalog is shameful value you can get unless you save up your points for about 6 years and then you might be able to cash out for an AMC gift card. Last year I was selected for a snack diary as well as my son. I was compensated my son was not and I was told that my child had eaten too healthy and that he was disqualified. I finally decided to terminate and they have harassed me telling me that they will report me to collections if I do not return their transmitter. I have already sent their transmitter in and still receive multiple harassing messages.

I would give it a less rating if I could. I received my scanner and started to use it to realize you don't get much in the way of points and it is time consuming scanning your items especially groceries having to scan then enter the other options for each item ie. discount at store or on card and some stores you have to enter the price and if you do a big shop it's not so easy. If you don't scan often they call you constantly so I decided to return the item. I requested a waybill then two days later I was getting emails and phone calls that if I don't return the scanner immediately then they would put me in collections. I hadn't even received the waybill yet. I will be glad to see it gone and back to them. I do not recommend this to anyone. They didn't even give me time to receive the waybill they were on me right away. Don't do it. Waste of time.

I've been doing this for 2 years, I haven't had anything back from it. Just constant phone calls letters. I send the equipment back weeks ago and today I had a bill for £115 for them. I would not
Recommend to anyone. Waste of time!!!
