Signing up for the OneOpinion survey site is quick and easy – simply fill out the registration form (or chat with 'Emily' the bot to sign up), and follow the instructions once you receive your confirmation email. Once you have 25,000 Points (1,000 points = $/£1.00) in your account, you can redeem your balance towards items in the OneOpinion Rewards Program. Many different gift cards options are available, including Amazon gift cards, and are sent via UPS to your mailing address.

If you do not want to wait until a physical card is delivered (keep in mind that it can take up to 10 days to arrive), you can opt for a virtual gift card that will instantly be sent to you and ready for use.

Survey Taking Experience

Collect Your Points

Most OneOpinion surveys pay the points equivalent of $1 to $5 ($1 = 1,000 points), so you’ll hit the 25,000 point threshold needed to start redeeming your rewards quickly if you are an active member of the panel.

When new online surveys become available, you'll be e-mailed a survey invitation which will state the topic of the survey, the number of points offered for completing it, as well as the approximate time it'll take to complete. Even if you end up getting screened out of a survey, One Opinion will still reward you with points! This will help you reach your rewards goals faster.

If you get screened out or are disqualified from an online survey, OneOpinion will still compensate you. Earn up to 250 points per day (50 points x 5 disqualifications) for screen outs.

Is One Opinion Legit?

OneOpinion is not a scam and is a legitimate paid surveys site. The site has been operating since 2011 and has issued millions of dollars in rewards to its members. Although members of the survey program may have different experiences, OneOpinion is legitimate and is run by Dynata (one of the largest data sampling companies in the world).

As with any survey site, it's advisable to consult user reviews before joining. Scroll down for a list of OneOpinion reviews.

Eligibility: Residents of the USA and UK may join. Must be 17+ (members 18 and under must get parental consent before joining). Multiple members from the same household may join.

Note: OneOpinion closed the .ca (Canadian) .fr (French), Australian, German, Spain and Italian versions of their survey panel on June 30, 2019. The USA and UK versions of their panel continue to be operational.

Started out good then became very bad

First reward happened very quickly. I competed about 1 in 3 surveys. Then it dropped immediately to 1 in 10, then even less.

Here are the problems that drove me away from this panel:

Disqualified without any questions. I would be directed to a survey then immediately back to One Opinion as disqualified. No questions asked or answered. This happened 6 or 8 times.

Numerous screeners then disqualified. Sometimes 10 or 20 questions from multiple panels. So at least they were trying to find a survey I was qualified for, but ultimately, it was just a waste of time and misleading about how much time and for what reward the survey would be.

Numerous questions then disqualified. This is past the screener into the survey. Answer 15 questions and you are disqualified. Sometimes this would be 30 minutes for no reward.

Complete 75 - 90% of a survey and disqualified. These are the ones that made me lead One Opinion.

At the rate I was going, I would have hit cash out for the second time in approximately 6 or 8 months.

There are far too many system bugs. The redirects with no question. And, there is one survey site that continually says "Checking your Internet Connection" but never loads a survey. As a test, I let it run for 2 hours one day. It never loaded. I hit this 5 times.

To their credit, One Opinion gave me the points for the 75% complete survey. But, by the time I got to the 90% complete, it was after all the other problems so I got out of this. I don't know how anyone makes the kind of money some of the other reviewers reported.

Keep in mind that every survey opens with a pre-screening portion, meant to either qualify or disqualify you from the survey within 1-5 minutes. If you are ever disqualified well outside this window, we absolutely agree that you should receive credit for your time and participation. Whenever this happens, please contact us. Provide us some information on what the survey was about, when it was taken, and how many points it was worth. We can often use this info to locate the survey in your history and look into the situation further.

When you are disqualified from the survey before any questions are asked, this can be for two reasons.
1. the survey has met its respondent quota, and is not taking any further participants
2. the client accessed your OneOpinion profile info upon the survey window opening, and has determined that your profile/demographic is not a fit for the particular survey

Be Wary !

This is another website that people should be wary about using. They gave me sufficient surveys to begin with after I joined and I now only need a few more surveys to reach the 25000 points required to take a reward but I have not had a survey to complete in the last 3 weeks even though I log on and look a few times each day. Other sites give me surveys nearly every day so it cannot be me so this must be a deliberate ploy by One Opinion so I cannot trust them.

I apologize for any issues you are experiencing with OneOpinion, and with qualifying for surveys. Please keep in mind that our surveys come from many different clients and sources, many of whom are looking for some very specific demographics and target markets in their survey responses. These surveys grab some cursory data from your panel profile when they are opened, and based on that information, they will allow you to answer further survey questions, or disqualify you immediately.

The pre-screening portion of every survey is intended to either qualify or disqualify you from the survey within 1-4 minutes. Sometimes you will be disqualified based on age. Other times, based on physical location. Other times still, based on shopping habits, etc. It all depends what info the client is looking for at the time. There are also times where you will be automatically disqualified because the client already has the number of survey responses they need.

We are constantly working with new and existing clients to add more and more surveys to our system. We do tend to field fewer surveys in the UK than the US, and we apologize for any inconvenience here. We are actively working to remedy this and offer a wider variety of surveys in this market.

There is not any sort of correlation between how close you are to redeeming for a reward, and how many surveys you receive.

What happened?

When I first joined about a month ago I did fantastic the 1st week. Cashing in 3 times. Now I don't hardly qualify for any of the surveys. They send me opportunities but I get started on them and end up not qualifying. It's becoming a huge waste of my time. Very disappointed.

Horrible Survey Site!

If you have an account with any of their sites they will freeze your accounts and will not even give you an explanation. I was trying to cash out points and it wouldn't let me do it. I contacted customer service and they opened a ticket and said they would check into it and have never fixed the issue only to freeze my account. I wouldn't recommend this site at all.

We use a variety of third-party software and systems in order to validate the identities of our panel members, and also to prevent any fraudulent or malicious activity on the website. These systems can sometimes flag accounts for a number of reasons. If this happens, we always try to be as absolutely transparent as possible on what is taking place. In many cases, account flagging issues can be corrected by our member care team, and accounts can be set back to "active" status.

i know they are not ripping me off, but, like the rest, starts out like a barn on fire, when you get 1/2 to first $10-$20 gift card, boom!, stops dead...."No surveys for you at this time.", mailbox goes totally quiet.... I'm not looking to get rich on surveys, but it can get pretty discouraging to go 3 days without one.
