Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. My brother and I use survey panels as a way to get extra cash during the summer. We joined Opinion Outpost as a secondary income next to our jobs. Everything was fine... until the site would log us out and we couldn't log back in. Constant frustration with clicking on the login button NONSTOP only to have us email the [email protected] to ask what the problem was. We had to delete our history and cookies in order to log back in. WTF. So we did.. Then the next issue was freezing our accounts every OTHER DAY!!! We have sent countless emails just to clarify what was going on and the answers have been so vague, we just let it go for a few days. Now my brother and I are twins. They have frozen our accounts in suspicion that we are the same person, It's been two weeks and we haven't heard anything. If you think Opinion Outpost is worth the time, I would gladly suggest you reconsider. Its a bunch of technical biased mess and should be banned from existence.

I have been a member of Opinion Outpost for 8 years and never had a problem. Only until this last month has my account ever been "frozen" for data concerns. As others are now stating below there is obviously a problem with their "fraud" system where it is flagging accounts of people who take surveys while on the road and using public wifi such as their hotel rooms,libraries,coffee shops,ect in America. Since it is not a static IP address it is flagging the system. Like others here-my business has me constantly on the road traveling to many cities across New York state. I use my hotel rooms wifi for internet access 90 percent of time when I go online so it pings a different IP address then what is my home IP address. Last week my account was frozen-gave them my info and tried to explain the problem and they reinstated my account. All was fine again for 3 days until I logged into my account this morning from my hotel room and again my account has been frozen. Just got off phone to the "help" desk trying to explain what is happening and why and now again I have to wait 3-5 days for the account department to investigate and hopefully reinstate my 8 year old account that I NEVER had problems with until very recently. Unfortunately,I do not think the higher ups at survey sampling have any idea there is a problem with the fraud system now in place and maybe not even the tech dept. Until they fix it and aware of it- this is going to constantly happen as many posters below are experiencing.
Even the rep I spoke to this morning said they are having an extreme volume of being frozen calls and that it might take longer then usual for the department to look at my case again.
If you go to their facebook page you will see literally tons of people getting frozen in only the last 2-3 weeks-there is something definitely wrong with the system and its not just the IP issue!

My account was locked/terminated suddenly without a reasonable explanation, even though I have been a member in good standing since 2011 and successfully completed over 1500 surveys. Oh well, I know how the company loves to solicit opinions, so I will be happy to give my experience on Survey Police. Opinion Outpost has become a mess and now has poor customer relations. Shutting out accounts without rhyme or reason is not professional. As a business, I would seriously question using them for research because of their business practices. I would not be surprised if the staff uses the money they confiscated from my account and others for office parties.
**Update- I sent numerous polite emails requesting help to find out what was the specific issue with my account and never received an answer back from the company. Regardless of the company replies here, it is obvious that the arbitrary decisions and actions of the company reflex not acting in good faith.

I've made a good deal of money off of this site, but my account kept getting locked for "data" issues. This has happened on and off since January 2017.

The customer service are nice and helpful, but it took days/weeks to get your account resolved. When my account was been reinstated, it takes 24 hours to log-in. When I've logged in, my account gets booted again. I use some antiquated computers on Linux as well as a tablet and Google Pixel phone, so maybe the mix of devices is what is causing the problems. Either way, it is incredibly frustrating as someone who answers surveys honestly and fairly.

Update: My account got deactivated because they claimed I am operating outside the US. I live in one of the most rural parts of the United States, so I have no idea how they could begin to think I am living somewhere else. I still have money in my account. Beware! If you start making money on this site, you will get booted at some point with no money in your hand :(

This site is my go to site. My first pick because it only takes $3 to cash out and there's no waiting weeks to get paid as with other sites. More surveys that I qualify for compared to the others I've tried. Been with them for a few years now a days couldn't be happier.
