Earn Cash for Completing Surveys

With just $5 worth of survey earnings (500 points), you can 'cash out' your points balance for two cash options:

  • PayPal - receive an instant PayPal payment by selecting this rewards option. Note that you must redeem your full points balance when selecting PayPal for reward payments.
  • Bank transfer (USA only) - If you live in the USA, you can choose to receive a bank transfer payment. Bank transfers are handled by a third-party partner and take 3-4 business days to complete and are a safe way to receive your money.
Points Value: 500 points = $5.00. 1 Survey Junkie point therefore equals 1 cent.

Choose a Gift Card Instead

If you live in the USA, you can also choose to redeem your points for e-gift cards. e-gift cards are available in denominations of $5, $10, $15, $20, $25 and $50. You can choose from major retailers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Sephora, Groupon, Apple and Starbucks. You can also select a pre-paid Visa card.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you attempt to complete a survey but get disqualified before you're able to finish it, Survey Junkie will still credit your account with 2-3 points. Payouts for surveys themselves vary and will depend on the length of the survey, how difficult it is to qualify, as well as other criteria.

To increase your chances of qualifying for a survey, look for surveys that have green diamonds. These indicate surveys that you are most likely to be able to successfully complete. Red diamonds on the other hand, may carry higher payouts, but will have the lowest chance of being able to complete.

Complete Profile Surveys to Earn Points and Get Better Matched

Survey Junkie has numerous profile surveys available to members in their account dashboards. Complete these profilers to earn 10-50 points for each completion, and benefit from being better matched to future surveys.

Don't work for nothing

October 14, 2023 by Helen from United States

I really loved survey junkie when I first started and even got paid the first time. The second time I was owed 25.06 and they refused to pay me unless I provided a photo of my state ID to prove who I was they said. Funny they paid me the first time without a problem using paypal verification. Don't waste your time here. I did report them to BBB.

too many, but not qualified

September 26, 2023 by sherry from United States

You can sit there & do 20 surveys that they state u will be qualified for & then lo & behold after 5 mins or more of answering questions, you are suddenly.." not qualified" What? Not worth it.

Don't Trust This Panel

July 14, 2023 by Lisa from United States

Joined this panel a year ago, including following all the qualifications for their data tracking on my phone. Was supposed to earn 50 Pulse Points per month, which my account history was showing. Should have had over 1000 points but my account showed less than 500 so I contacted them. They claimed all those Pulse Points weren't valid because I hadn't set Pulse up correctly, after my following ALL their instructions to the letter. They suggested I uninstall and reinstall and redo the Pulse requirements, which I did. They then informed me that their app wasn't even installed on my phone! I finally got them to recognize it and got to 500 pts so I could cash out and was then informed that I had to either give them a selfie and a pic of my driver's license OR give them my bank account info, neither of which I trusted them enough to do. I've been on numerous panels but have NEVER had to give more than my cell number for a PayPal deposit. A bank deposit was an option at times but NOT a demand to get my earnings. I told them to delete my account and I got a huge email, claiming all these protocols were because they were so trustworthy and reputable and practically begging me not to leave. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

You're Lucky To Ever Get A Survey To Answer

June 26, 2023 by Kenneth from United States

6/25/2023
I was once a very successful "Survey Junkie" survey taker who accumulated $756.57 within a little over two years in my spare time. I was always able to reach $50.00 within a few weeks which is the amount that "Survey junkie" advises a person to redeem at, as after that they advise that the redemption process gets more complicated. Within the last six months something drastic must have changed as you are fortunate to reach $5.00 regardless of how many surveys you attempt as that is the minimum amount required for a redemption. I have been unable to even qualify any longer for a survey as they have new unique methods of keeping you from getting any further in a survey by informing you after you may have provided just your birthday and zip code "THAT YOU'RE NOT QUALIFIED TO ANSWER THE REST OF THIS SURVEYS QUESTIONS" and they give you $0.03 and that is what they call unique in the survey business. That along with telling me "THAT I AM SEEING DOUBLE" which means I have taken this survey before an it is usually shown when a survey is worth at least $1.00 to $4.00, and it should take from 5 to 8 minutes to complete. Just today I wrote a message to "Survey Junkie" on this very subject offering to return every one of the $756.57 that I earned if they could prove to me that I had actually taken the $4.12 survey (8-minutes to complete) once before. I know the response will be a lot of excuses and after several email exchanges I will be told that they deposited 25-points ($0.25) into my account and that this is the best they can do and that's because I am a long-time customer. In the same message today, I told them that I was going to redeem the $13.85 in my account that had taken me three weeks to earn and then I was going to uninstall their service and I was also going to take the time to place a review on "Survey Police"... I have now completed all three of those things as this review being the last of the three. By the way "Survey Junkie" has also instituted a new wrinkle into an old bonus offer in which you can earn a $5.00 bonus within about 10-days if you can successfully answer 3-surveys that are worth at least 20-points $0.20 each over a 7-day period within the 10-day bonus period. To show their generosity they added many more surveys to make it seem easier to be successful and when I attempted to do just one day of (3) 20-point surveys after about the 10th to the 15th turn down in which I may have earned less than $0.21, just gave up. This same bonus opportunity used to require any three surveys when they used to offer several $.10 surveys. The bonus used to be offered a few times a year and now it is constantly available. They even offered $100.00 to a few winners of a new 10000-point contest if they are lucky enough to finish a certain number of surveys and to then be entered into a drawing to win $100.00. It may have already been withdrawn. Obviously, I suggest that anyone who is looking to answer surveys as a way to earn a few extra dollars (which is a good idea) to look away from "Survey Junkie" unless wasting your time is good idea to you.

Want too much ID Info

June 8, 2023 by Rita from United States

I have been using SurveyJunkie for awhile now. No problems. All of a sudden when I went to redeem my points, I was told in order to make things more private I had to enter a picture ID with all corners showing on the ID card. This is way too invasive for me so I declined and lost my points. I do not give out my private information like address, driver's license #, etc. What are they thinking? I no longer us them for this reason. This is so disappointing and wrong. Younger people seem to have no problems handing out all their info. I guess they are clueless as to what can be done with it. Caution is necessary. I hope they don't learn the hard way. I have had identity theft 3 times. We need to be careful.
