New members of SurveyJunkie receive 25 free points immediately after signing up and an additional 25 points for confirming their e-mail address. Fill out the profilers to earn 10-50 points per profiler. Joining, clicking the confirmation link in your e-mail and filling out the general profiler is worth 100 points in total ($1.00). Survey Lengths

The average length of time it takes to complete a survey with Survey Junkie is 15 minutes. The estimated time for completions is stated on survey invitations (or in the app). New surveys are available daily.

Short Point Approval Times

Once you take a survey, it may take up to 24 hours to approve your points. Points do not expire as long as you are an active member. In order to be considered 'active', simply log in to your Survey Junkie account and complete a survey within a 12 month period.

Earn Cash for Completing Surveys

With just $5 worth of survey earnings (500 points), you can 'cash out' your points balance for two cash options:

• PayPal - receive an instant PayPal payment by selecting this rewards option. Note that you must redeem your full points balance when selecting PayPal for reward payments.
• Bank transfer (USA only) - If you live in the USA, you can choose to receive a bank transfer payment. Bank transfers are handled by a third-party partner and take 3-4 business days to complete and are a safe way to receive your money.

Choose a Gift Card Instead

If you live in the USA, you can also choose to redeem your points for e-gift cards. e-gift cards are available in denominations of $5, $10, $15, $20, $25 and $50. You can choose from major retailers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Sephora, Groupon, Apple and Starbucks. You can also select a pre-paid Visa card.

Earn Points for Disqualifications

If you attempt to complete a survey but get disqualified before you're able to finish it, Survey Junkie will still credit your account with 2-3 points. Payouts for surveys themselves vary and will depend on the length of the survey, how difficult it is to qualify, as well as other criteria.

To increase your chances of qualifying for a survey, look for surveys that have green diamonds. These indicate surveys that you are most likely to be able to successfully complete. Red diamonds on the other hand, may carry higher payouts, but will have the lowest chance of being able to complete.

Unlock badges by reaching key milestones such as completing profiles, tutorials, taking your first survey, reaching your first 300 points, etc. Each badge completion awards anywhere from 5-10 points and can be found under the 'Awards' link located at the top of your account dashboard.

Survey Junkie App

Survey Junkie has a mobile app available on Google Play, for Android phone users and in the Apple store for iOS users. The app functions similarly to the website in that you can take surveys, check your available points balance, and redeem rewards. The Survey Junkie app will notify you when new surveys become available, which can be helpful in reducing the chances of being disqualified from a survey if you are one of the first respondents to complete a survey.

BBB Accreditation

Survey Junkie is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Glendale, California and maintains a solid BBB rating. They have hundreds of reviews posted on the BBB's website, most of which are positive and amount to a star rating that's between 4-5 stars.

Is Survey Junkie Legit

Survey Junkie is not a scam and is considered to be a safe and legitimate survey panel. It is a real website which you can use to earn gift vouchers and cash in exchange for participating in online surveys. They are a member of the BBB and have a good reputation there.

Although everyone's experience with the website may be different in terms of whether it's worth the time and how much you can ultimately earn, with over 20 million survey takers registered on their site, Survey Junkie is legit.

I went to verify my points today I sent my phone number and it went through the ticket as soon as I submitted my ticket I got a call back from one of the workers one of the workers had a unpleasant and rude tone and never polite way he also had hung up on me he kept saying hello in a rude way. I also waited to redeem my points since two months ago.

I began using SurveyJunkie around early December 2020. After I had used this service for only a few weeks, I was denied access to the points in my account (roughly $10 worth) because, in their words, they had "detected suspicious activities." I knew all the rules and was extremely careful to follow them, so I knew I had done nothing wrong. I sent a message to support and was told in an automated response that they needed further verification of my account, that they would send me a postcard which would contain a code, and that entering the code would resolve the issue. I received the postcard, entered the code, and was still denied access to my account. I contacted support again, and I received a response in which they accused me of "tampering with links to bypass or circumvent survey controls, or through any other fraudulent or false means, in order to redeem points." This is so ridiculous that it’s almost funny, because I know for a fact that I never did or tried to do anything wrong regarding point redemption or anything else. I worked to earn each and every one of the points I got from them, and then they suspended my account for laughably illegitimate reasons. I do not know whether this error was the result of a mere mistake or intentional dishonesty on SurveyJunkie’s part, but I do know that you should far away from them unless you’re okay with the possibility of your honestly-earned money being taken from you for no reason.

I've been using SurveyJunkie for a while now (well over a year) and have generally had no problems with them, other than the ridiculous verification checks they throw at you every so often before you can cash out.

This has all changed now however. Upon entering the site this morning, I found that there were no surveys to take. Finding this odd, I contacted SurveyJunkie and was told that my account needed to be verified yet again and that this would require a postcard to be sent to me. What? I've never heard anything this ridiculous - especially as they've had multiple proofs of identity from me since I joined.

So now I have to wait until some magical postcard arrives, if in fact it ever does. I should also mention that they're holding money from me currently, which also can't be withdrawn until I receive this wonderful postcard (which may or may not ever arrive).

This site has been good in the past, but it's clear now that something has changed. They are dishonest and will eventually rip you off - be warned. There are far better sites than this out there and they won't rip you off like this one either...

Its been since Oct 9th, they won't let you redeem, say they will mail you a postcard, after reading online and esp on BBB in CA people are having problems. People either never get the postcard but if they do and input verification number it goes to a queue to get a call from them. I have tried the queue and they never call. I try the email they say they will reply back M-F 9-5 and again no response. I have been a member since 2014 and this is not how they have responded in years past. I did leave a report/complaint with BBB and they informed me they sent message to the company but I don't know if thats going anywhere either.

They won't give you the points when you get to the cash out part, They send a card in the mail to verify with a code because they don't believe you are who you are... Then you get the card 6 months later and your account is closed.
