Going downhill

March 8, 2013 by Sara from Canada

At first I thought they were great. Then the surveys became fewer and fewer. When you do reach 1000 points and request a payment it takes about 6 weeks. I have had a ton of points sitting in limbo now for over 6 months. I have written them 4 times and I never get a response back. And most of the surveys I get, I get more than half way through and then get disqualified. This site is becoming a big waste of time.

A legitimate and trustworthy business

February 7, 2013 by Asmaa from Canada

Since signing up with numerous survey companies in January of 2011, I have unsubscribed from almost all of them, because I learned quickly which points add up and which don't. Currently, I'd only participate in the companies that offer me a fast 1000 points redemption ($10) such as Web Perspectives and MySurvey. So far, I've redeemed my $10 about 6 or 7 times with WP and once or twice with MySurvey. I actually have over a 1000 points right now with WP waiting to be claimed. GlobalTestMarket is also good as it has very many opportunities even though the payout is a bit slight.

Favorite So Far

December 8, 2012 by Michelle from Canada

I signed up for about 30 different panels throughout September, cancelled about 10 since then because of sketchy practices or exceptionally bad reviews, and so far Web Perspectives is the only one I've actually received money from.

I qualify for most of the surveys that are sent to me, incentives are fair, I accumulate points fast and the cash out threshold is low. Also, although the site warns that it could take up to 5 weeks for points to be moved from pending to credited, I have rarely had to wait longer than 2 weeks. There are many other good companies out there but this one is my favorite simply because of how fast I cash out.

Based on the mixed reviews I've read regarding survey companies, it's obvious to me that different companies work better for different people, so rather than recommend any particular company, I would advise that you try one and move on if it doesn't work for you.

In my opinion, this one is definitely worth a try!

Use to be great...Not now

November 18, 2012 by Ryan from Canada

Good:
-Incentives are quite reasonable. 100 - 400 points on average (1000 = $10).
-Receive surveys often

Bad:
-I have 5000+ points pending...For the past 4 or 5 months now. My total has been sitting on 150 all that time.
-You can be 30 minutes into a survey, click next and it will come up saying you don't qualify. No compensation for your time then. Could be a scam to get survey results without paying.
-Customer service does not exist.

Conclusion:
WB use to be my favourite, but now that all my points just sit in pending and other issues I've had, I'm just not wasting my time with them anymore.

Very Good

October 29, 2012 by Amanda from Canada

Web Perspectives is so far the best paid-survey website I've encountered, and I've seen a lot. The payout per survey is very good; up to 500 points (equal to $5) and never less than 100 points for each survey and it works out to about $1 per 10 minutes spent. I get anywhere from 10-20 surveys sent to my email per month. If I had the time to complete every offer I got (which I don't) I would be getting over $100 a year.

I've never received a survey with the offer of 'sweepstakes' instead of points. As long as you fill out at least part of your preferences/profile, it's fine.

The only drawback is the length of time it takes for the points you earn to be deposited into your account. It can take weeks, often months. The good thing is, I've always gotten them eventually; but it's definitely not instant like some other companies.

Overall, still one of the best websites. The payout rate is excellent, if you don't mind waiting a little.
