Web Perspectives is the Canadian focused survey panel, sister site to the American panel, Valued Opinions, which is operated by Dynata. The panel was started back in 2004 and has a member base of over 250,000 people. In 2018, the Web Perspectives website updated their look and feel with fresh colors and graphics, as they became a Dynata-run panel. If were already a member, your account information stayed the same through this transfer.

Participate in Exciting Research

As a member of Web Perspectives, you may be invited to any of the following research opportunities: online surveys, focus groups, diary studies, reviewing advertising campaigns and even testing new products.

Earn Points for Participating

Each time you complete an online survey, you will be rewarded with 100 - 500 points. Surveys vary in length and complexity, but usually take 15 - 20 minutes to complete. Points are deposited automatically into your account once you complete a survey. If you have participated in a dairy study or focus groups, points may take up to 6 weeks to be credited.

Redeem Towards Gift Vouchers

Once you collect 1,000 points (valued at $10), you may redeem towards your choice of gift voucher to a variety of top retailers. These include: Amazon.ca, Indigo, HBC, Starbucks, The Source and Cineplex. There is also the option to donate your points toward the Canadian Cancer Society or UNICEF and you'll even receive a tax receipt for your contribution!

Choose Air Miles

If you're a collector of Air Miles Reward Miles, you can choose to receive your reward in the form of Air Miles credited to your account. You will have to provide your Air Miles Collector number in order to receive your miles.

Web Perspectives offers a unique program which involves its more active members collecting "badges" for their level of participation. There are 5 levels that can be achieved with mini tasks that must be completed. The five levels are listed from lowest to highest.

I was perfectly satisfied with taking surveys and receiving rewards UNTIL they removed PAYPAL from their list of rewards WITHOUT NOTICE!!! I have tried to contact web perspectives OVER AND OVER without ANY REPLY. i'm not going to waste my time on surveys for a measly gift card that i can't even use! i'm very displeased and i have spent lots of time on surveys that i now cannot claim a reward for.

I signed up with this company because they seemed decent and they offered Paypal. It did take FOREVER to be credited for the surveys completed but at least you got paid. I just found out that they removed the option to use Paypal without so much as a word to any panel members. Now all they offer is stupid gift cards and not very many options. I contacted them about it but I still haven't heard back. I have a feeling they are quickly going downhill and I wouldn't waste my time on a survey company that has no respect for the input from their panel members.

I've been sending them e-mails since Nov. 30th, 2010 about them not giving me the points for a survey I completed. Twice now I've been told that it would be taken care of, and twice now nothing has happened. Their customer service has been abysmal.

I WAS TAKING SURVEYS FOR THIS COMPANY FOR A YEAR.POINTS WENT MISSING.I EMAILED THEM 4 TIMES BEFORE SOMEONE WROTE ME BACK BASICALLY SAYING TOO BAD!POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE,POOR INCENTIVES,TAKES FOREVER TO BE PAID 10 MEASLY BUCKS,NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!

I have done several surveys with this site since signing up. They claim your points will be posted within a few days, however after the first couple of surveys they stopped posting my points. It has been weeks now and goodness knows how many points have dropped off the list. I also had the experience of completing a survey and then being told I didn't qualify. That is foul game, to say the least! I sent them a contact message a few days ago to which they have not responded at all. It's unbelievable that they are representing reputable companies with such misleading and poor service.
